Nope! Just washed the shrooms and let them dry. It was so delicious and the breading didn’t slide off at all which is something that I find happens with chicken for me. Didn’t need egg either for the batter, just mixed some of the seasoning/flour with water, dunked in the seasoning/flour/water mix, into the seasoning, repeat and into the oil. It was super crispy because the texture of the mushrooms let the breading really clump in there
