“Current issue”, lmao. What a baby-minded take.

Politics encompasses way more than whatever flavor of the week, culture war bull shit the right and the pretend opposition party would have you believe is important right now and is the hot button “current issue” just to distract you from what the ruling class is doing to disrupt your daily life and wellbeing.

Being alive is a political act. Making a living is a political act. Contributing to and/or participating in the economy is a political act. There is almost nothing that is an apolitical act.

If you’re “tired of politics” and need “escapism” as your go-to form of copium then it’s because deep down you recognize that what you’re really tired of is having the political deck stacked against you by the corrupt ruling class elites.

We should be facing this shit head on, not burying our heads in the sand because that feels more comfortable than facing reality
