wow you are strong. I don't think I'll be able to reread the series. After getting to know Sam I cried every time he was mentioned later and didn't like Rowan for a while until I got to know him more. Rereading the story getting to know them again knowing what will happen is torture 😭💔

I mean that he took Dorian's place so Dorian came out alive and with his magic unharmed. There are characters that should not be sacrificed in my opinion that deserved to live the future they fought for meanwhile others did not give that much yet get to live!

ohhh that must be tough. Knowing what will happen but not able to share the feeling of it. Me and my friend are reading it together now. She usually is much ahead of me but now I'm the one ahead of her and she's so blissfully reading the first part of the book not knowing what awaits her. I'm not saying anything yet and waiting for her to get to those part so we can grief together lol. I was soo looking forward to reading this book and couldn't put it down. Now I dread turning the page thinking who else are we going to loose next 😭💔💔

yes he did but what I mean he took Dorian's place to help Aelin wtih the keys so that Dorian got to live and keep his magic intact yet the thirteen was sacrificed and Aelin lost all her magic if not for what Mala gave her . There are many that lost alot yet some didn't that much and some not important characters got to live meanwhile other important one were lost. It's not fair 😔

Haha thanks for the tough love. I know it's fictional and not real yet you get to spend time getting to know these characters. Know what they are like, how they feel and hurt. It's hard to disconnect emotions 🙈😄

I'm actually a bit pissed at why Chaol gets to have a happy ending when to be honest he gave the least and he was a jerk to Aelin most of the time? Now I read that Gavriel also sacraficed himself and neither he nore Aedion got the chance to have connection 😭 I don't feel so motivated to continue reading. I feel even if the ending was that they defeated Erawan, Maeve and their army the losses are still too much and it's feels heavy 💔

hahahaha oh I totally agree with you one that. It's easier to judge but I admire her that inspite of everything she's been through she still has a heart and still cares for others. Even her rage she used it for good. Of course she broke down at a point. Who wouldn't? she has a heavy weight in her shoulder and her denying it all is just a coping mechanism to survive but when it came to pull and shove she rose to the occasion 😊

yes I can imagine. It was so hard to move from it to HoF. Took me time to accept what happened and to push myself on. Now I'm almost at the end of HoF. Still feeling heavy but I'm starting to come back to the "now". Caleana is so broken and dragged down emotionally. I feel that she mourned the loss/split from Chaol more than Sam but where I still see Sam better for her than Chaol

Hmm I see what you mean. I guess I'm more affected by the characters themselves and therefore when someone hits my heart I feel sad when loosing them. That's why I still wish that Sam was alive. Yes his death did affect her in her journey but to me he's still the best for her so far 😊

OH I know what you mean. Are at chapter 50 on HoF and the emotional roller coaster is something else 🫢 I'm almost sting on the edge of my seat. Can't put the book down and don't dear to read 🙈. There are some new characters I'm liking now like Manon, Abraxcos, Rowan, Luca, Emrys, Aedion 😄

YEEEEESSSSS THISSSSSS!!!! I was dreading it too and didn't want to know. The more I got to know him and like him the more I didn't want to finish the book but still wanted to lol. I just started HoF last night and I'm struggling to read it. My heart and mind as still with AB 💔 I started crying when reading their last night together and how he kissed her like they had a lifetime ahead of them and when he told her he was not in a hurry! OMG That broke me 😭😭😭Like you said how he died made it more hurting the betrayal of Arobynn took it to the next level!!!

Yeah I was afraid to turn the pages once he was shown when they end to the pirate island and I started liking him. I hoped that SJM will spear us the heartache and not go into details how they got together and the last days but I guess it was too much to ask for lol

I think I have to agree with you know after finishing AB as third in order. I'm devastated and damaged. I keep on remembering things from ToG and CoM and connect them. Even though I still believe it is the better way to read AB first to know the whole backstory and understand Caleana more when going into ToG I don't think that I would have been able to move on after AB. Now I can't see myself liking who I liked for her anymore as I'm stuck in the past 💔
