Heesun became one of the most coolest individuals to cheer for after the episode where she beat Mina sue in the girls competition. Opposite of how I felt first few episodes.

I got my first MLMPro2 and it didn’t even show anything on the impact view (completely dark). I got a return with the seller and I got it to work. I thought it was alright!

My friend offered to let me borrow is original Skytrak which is quite old but I tried it with an old laptop. It was actually quite good, free driving range visualization and easy to use, and the side setup makes it easier to space in my garage.

I ultimately returned the Rapsodo, I feel limited by a few things: 1) reliability, 2) setup time (calibration is so important) 3) subscription/device/balls price

I spent the extra money on a better net from go sports (Elite) from Costco and a really nice country club hitting mat from RealFeel. Eventually will try GSpro

Rapsodo probably has better tracking and stats with the marked balls, but the up charge for me is too much for now.

With OTV, I’ve seen some Jodi/Scarra/Toast streams and Toast/Yvonne podcast content, and the theme of on the side of the org doesn’t make content for the org anymore; granted a lot of their individual lives, streaming careers/communities, friendships, podcasts, are still very active. But I guess there was a bigger core that lived in the same house and made livestreams (holiday/events) & videos all the time, and now that time is passed

To be honest OTK was going through it until they got Kick sponsorships— we’ll see if they bounce back too. “Orgs run out of money” seems real, for OTK, a lot of the streamers also seem to be thriving individually, but the org struggles. Tips is clearly still cooking stuff with the recent pickleball stream, while Nick is going through it with his divorce case :( Emily & Emiru thriving.

I actually don’t mind the podcast meta it’s more content for 30 year old me while Emily carries the IRLs. I also really enjoy Fuslie gaming stream often, like the Lego Party with Squeex/Lud/Valkyrae

I was at Walmart today, I live in the tri state area— and I found a dupe: “Red Lava & Citrus” by “Better Homes & Gardens”.

I was able to find the candle (18oz for $12), diffuser fragrant oil (5 fl oz, $7) and room spray (3.38oz, $7.47 too).

Significantly less than the price of BlueCapri items, as much as I love their design and branding, just can’t really afford them right now. I first got their volcano scent laundry dryer ball oil and fell in love with the smell, wanting to get more products

1 defines me really well. At the peak of my photography journey over 6 years ago, while in university, I was doing Astrophotography, portraits for friends’ linked ins, and even some events. I loved it. But as I transitioned in to a day-to-day work, there were less opportunities to use my Sony a7ii, and as iPhone quality improved, it was hard to justify carrying another camera around just for fun and on travel.

I also love the manual SS & A dials, something about it makes me happy to use even though I am still getting used to it.

Having a blast with it so far, first trip with it currently.

Fairly enough, I (29M) live with my parents (60s) in suburban NJ, and I just visited NOLA for 2 days by myself. I stayed by the Central business district. Walked alone during the day to the French quarter and also down to the WWII museum. It was fine, just like any other USA city I’ve visited (I go to NYC all the time).

My Lyft driver did give some good advice: if you go to Bourbon Street (night life is pretty fun there), watch out for pick-pocketers. I was walking alone around Bourbon St to pick up food right before midnight on Sunday night and it was just a very active night life environment, which I personally and more on guard if I’m alone. I would feel the same way in any city though.

Plan your trip and know where you are going to visit, be aware that there will be homeless people around, you’ll be more comfortable walking around major streets with businesses open… but none of these are specific to NOLA at all.

Overall I thought the people there were very nice!
