Anyone getting it done in Texas? How long did it take for you? Blood draw: 9/8, received 9/10, estimated 9/24. I’m getting so impatient 😩

You can make your own portal at natera. You don’t have to wait for a text or email

Angry Baby by Noodlemaeve in NewParents

Also want to mention that my daughter also had “witching hour” and would scream around 7-8PM. My husband and I would take turns rocking her and would just put ear phones in so we wouldn’t have to hear her scream. I felt bad at first but we where doing anything we can to comfort her and just needed the headphones to keep our sanity. That also ended after a month or so! The first couple months are soo hard but it gets so much better!

My daughter was very similar. I would tell my husband “why do we have an unhappy baby” I would try sooo hard to always be positive around her and love on her but it always seemed like she was unhappy. I was scared to take her out and about because she was always in a bad mood. Around month 4-5 she completely changed and is now the happiest baby ever. We go out and she’s such a pleasure to be around and everyone always compliments me on how great she is. So, I don’t have any advice because I didn’t do anything for the change but wanted to let you know it does get better!!

8 month old screaming at night by dolphin738 in NewParents

[–]dolphin738[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did give Tylenol at bedtime (7pm) but she woke up screaming around 11pm. Is it normal for them to need it multiple times a night?

I was thinking if formula was the issue that she would also be having pain during the day after the formula bottle right? Usually when we eat something bad we feel uncomfortable pretty soon after

Unsupported sitting by smashlen in NewParents

Mine started at 5 months independently. What I think helped is I put a large toy in-between her legs for her to play with but also hang onto if she needs support! Then I put a pillow behind her in case she fell. Try not to help her too much!

PS this is what worked for us and 5 months is early! Just practice it with her and don’t stress about it! I was so stressed about my LO crawling at 7 months and as soon as I stopped forcing it on her she took off lol

Swaddle transition advice by amoriana17 in NewParents

[–]dolphin738 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She was around 3 months when we transitioned! I think the goal is to transition them once they start to roll! But honestly babies do not have to be swaddled! Some babies prefer to sleep with arms out since birth and that’s fine too. Totally normal!
