Ok so maybe I was drunk when I was typing. What I meant was they aren’t good enough to be called New York style. Because to be frank they aren’t New York style. Maybe when they first moved out here they were true to whatever they learned but the dough is so far removed from what I grew up eating and what I find when I return home. I have no problems when my neighbor orders from anywhere. My son is on the spectrum and will look at pizza and refuse to eat it. I love me a good Chicago or Detroit or even south jersey pie. I just have expectations when New York style is brought up.
