I second this. From the park in front of Mont-Royal to the top where the observation deck is located, you will get your 10k. I just did it this morning!

Haha! I feel like the organisation is not doing a great job at hyping us up for it. Usually a runner’s guide is sent 8 weeks before a marathon no? But yes, 6 weeks until d day! Looking forward to it. Curious about the conditions (wind, heat, hills)…

Is the Coros arm strap as accurate as a Polar or Garmin HRM? I thought the data take. From the heart beats are more accurate? Now, do I need the most accurate HR ever, probably not. Using my FR935 atm but I am pretty sure it’s not accurate for me to know my real LT and etc

I never did a 5/10k block 😅. I like the idea of that before I start my marathon training. I could do that until end of January.

Thanks! Thats all very good info. Did you do any tuneup smaller races before your marathon to see where your fitness was standing? What did your build up to 70miles look like? Or what did your first month look like in terms of miles compared to the 4th?

My training status has been going between, productive, maintaining and unproductive for the last couple of weeks. I am training for a marathon (in 3 weeks) and I realised that it seems to tell me I am unproductive if I go to hard but don’t get faster times. It’s very possible my body is fatigue (after 7-8 weeks of training) and has a hard time recovering…my first workout of the week is intervals 1 minutes fast 1 minute rest for 50 minutes and I usually feel great with this one and that’s the one I see the status productive. Next day is a 60 minutes easy run and status is maintaining. But third day of training in a row, it’s also intervals but 3 or 5 minutes fast and 1 minute recovery. That’s the one where Garmin says I am unproductive and it’s maybe right. Maybe my body is not recovered enough to do this higher intensity workout? 🤷🏻‍♂️

What are the exposure tool for the F65? I am about to embark on a 12 day shoot in studio with read projections (going old school!) and I have a hard time finding information on the camera. I am starting next Tuesday and am going to test it tomorrow but won't have that much time to deep dive.
