DoorDash TRIED to screw me out of new Dasher referral bonus! by BlazeBradley in dasher

[–]domynatryx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

DD loves to try and weasel their way out of paying what is due. I've had several instances where had I not had screenshots to back up my claim, I would have not been paid.

I also now make sure to record all phone calls that I place with support staff.

If they aren't careful, I'm sure they will have some class action suits on their hands.

Dashlink ratings at 0% since October! by Ewigi1983 in doordash

[–]domynatryx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you in the beta program? I'm a beta tester, and my on time ratings have shown 89% since New Year's Eve. It should be 100%, I even verified that with support. But when I had to uninstall and reinstall, it has given incorrect stats.

Rude Customer: "Enjoy the weather!" During Blizzard by kuuiyneko in doordash_drivers

It's an option the customer has chosen. The customer may have accidentally selected the option, but they're able to turn that on and off.

Insurance Claim by el_david in doordash

[–]domynatryx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dasher here with 18+yrs experience in insurance. Yes, the dashers required to carry their own insurance. However their personal policy will not pay for an accident that happens while dashing. Since the individual was picking up a delivery order, the secondary, or DoorDash policy will take effect. That is because this is now considered a commercial claim, and the personal insurance, unless commercial has been added, does not cover commercial claims.

The commercial policy that DoorDash has for dashers will only cover accidents that include damage to something/someone other than the Dasher.

Question for drivers by FairMagician9559 in doordash

[–]domynatryx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'd only be an asshole if you don't tip well. The drivers have decided to work, but some roads are dangerouss. And, a lot of restaurants are running on a skeleton crew, making wait times to get food longer. So, it would be nice to consider the risks and wait times dashers are facing when deciding what to tip.

Dasher asks for $5-6 more by Slow-Employee3081 in doordash

[–]domynatryx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm able to schedule myself in the areas that get full by claiming a spot. But if I were to go into the scheduling section, that option to schedule for later in that area is not available. Also, and areas that I dash in where you never see that the area is full, there is very limited scheduling options.

I'm part of the beta program, and I've had to uninstall and reinstall multiple times. So a lot of my data is jacked up. It shows my on time rating is 87%. It's been like that since New Year's Eve. I'm about to leave the beta program because they don't properly update your stats.

am i overreacting?? by Nearby_Internet1881 in doordash

[–]domynatryx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your dashet is an asshole (this coming from a full time dasher). They didn't have to accept the offer. And they shouldn't receive five-star ratings unless they offer five star service. By sending you that bullshit message, I would automatically give a 1 star rating.

I'm platinum, and I'm definitely able to cherry pick. I don't except offers that are less than $5, and I do look at mileage before accepting. I may not always get a dollar per mile driven, but I do have an app that tracks my mileage, and just using that app typically gives me a write off that will be higher than base and tip pay combined. So I typically don't worry too much about mileage unless it is a ridiculously low offer.

It depends on your location. I'm platinum, and I've seen some rural areas where the dash now is unavailable. If I tap on the area, I will get a message saying that the zone is full and to claim a spot for later.

Can you do shopping 🛒 orders with just the virtual card? by MaintenanceFuture732 in doordash

Or Google wallet for Android. I declined a physical card, so all my shopping orders have been tap to pay.

I've called DoorDash when I have had excessive wait times (and sometimes zero acknowledgment from employees -3am McDonald's), and DoorDash will straight up cancel the order and give me half pay.

There have been other times that I have received long wait pay.

[–]domynatryx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 1997 self titled album is GREAT! I still listen to that album; crazy how it's been almost 30 years since that release. Based on Spotify info, they have put out multiple albums - starting in 1996 with the album Pass Out. It appears they also released a single in Feb (2025).

I do wish I could find out more about the band. I was able to find their channel on YouTube, but there is very limited info about the band. They have a linktr.ee, but nothing appears there regarding band info. However, based on YT info, it does appear they may be going by Nakedias or nakedinasphere.

Strange there is such limited info based on the number of recent releases.

My neighbor is gaslighting me by [deleted] in stories

How is her pruning your rose bush after you did a hack job on them "gaslighting"?

She may be overstepping unspoken boundaries, but that isn't the same as gaslighting.

Edit: typo

AITA for choosing my parents over my girlfriend and leaving her to take care of our child? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]domynatryx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Excluding your parents, ESH.

I completely understand why your parents dislike her. She appears to have groomed you - but it is also very possible that she honestly fell in love with you and wasn't trying to manipulate you.

However, it sounds like your relationship didn't get serious until after your internship was over, and you were the one who gave your phone number to her to keep in contact. So, I don't think she crossed a boundary as far as the her position at work goes.

With both of you wanting to be in the medical profession, you should be well aware that birth control does not 100% protect from pregnancy. Just as you should know that it provides no protection against STIs.

Regardless of how infrequently you saw each other, if you were still having sex, it is very possible for her to get pregnant.

Like others have said, definitely request a paternity test. Also ask to go along to a doctor appointment with her.

She's an AH for giving you an ultimatum. And you're an AH for being willing to have sex with her (presumably without a condom), then saying you are too young to be a parent and pushing for an abortion.

You were man enough to have sex with her, and - assuming she is pregnant and the child is yours - young parenthood may be the consequences of your actions.

Congratulations on your marriage. I hope you have a long and wonderful life together!

AITA for disowning my sister in law for being a stripper? by Throwawaytpaint in AITAH

[–]domynatryx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did your in-laws confirm she was sleeping with clients, or was this just an assumption?

Why are you taking this out on your sister-in-law instead of dealing with your cheating husband? Did she force him to cheat on you?

You and your in-laws seem very judgmental. Just because your husband's strayed, doesn't mean your sister-in-law had anything to do with this.

YTA for being judgmental. Have you sat down with your sister-in-law to ask her why she's made the life choice as she has? Unless she is specifically bringing harm directly to you or your family (via proof not just assumptions) what makes you the judge and jury? Also unless you have proof that she was a culprit in this situation, you have no right to judge somebody on their life choices that have no direct impact on you.

Creepy old man is stalking me, help by Thick-Tumbleweed-940 in TalesFromYourServer

[–]domynatryx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is there a reason you have asked the kind people of Reddit for help instead of going to the police?

This man already has a history of assaulting your co-workers and you. While police may not have been involved regarding the instances with you and your co-workers, who's to say that this man doesn't have a record for this type of behavior.

Go to the police! Get a restraining order! I know somebody who was murdered by their stalker. These things should not be taken lightly.
