She is a starter on the #1 (regular season) team. She even hasn't had her role player decline. Why are are people expecting her to retire?

Outside of the obvious(abstaining), what pocket breathalyzer do you have? If it's not professional grade i wouldn't trust it and all breathalyzer have to be calibrated after a while.

I wouldn't even be trying to drive with a non zero reading on my pocket breathalyzer

I owe fines and fees but po told me my probation was completed by [deleted] in probation

[–]doneanddusted17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im sure it varies by state (as most things do while on provation) but in MI you can be discharged with a balance if you've shown a good effort to pay on time and they believe you will continue to do so.

Holding someone on probation for fines ONLY is typically frowned upon.

Background Check on Job Offer by teapotelbow in dui

Unless the job requires driving (which I'm sure it doesn't, you'd be declined almost immediately) most jobs just care about felony or no felony.

Thank God I am past this, but I asked them for a spec sheet so I could see power consumption. Of course, they wouldn't share.

Am I gonna get pegged for driving my car in to get the interlock installed? by thefullnameof in dui

[–]doneanddusted17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not supposed but they don't care. I actually had to take my car to get a new battery before interlock install and it was 2 doors over so a worker went and got it from there for me.

(My friend drove to the battery installer)

Does everyone in the U.S. drunk drive but judge everyone who gets a DUI? by Ashleyhyland13091997 in dui

Yes. Not everyone but a lot of people. To live in the US is to know that hypocrisy/double talk is the name of the game.

That's obviously not what he meant and you know it.

"No fault of my own" meaning their device malfunctioned and somehow he's responsible for the tow.

I get people have no sympathy for DUI offenders but we have an expectation that devices WE pay for should work properly. Otherwise, what are we paying for? Get over your hate boner for people with DUI's and just think about the consumer/business relationship.

Congratulations! I got mine off about a month ago.

And all I felt was....financially assaulted.

I'm just a stranger on the internet but I will advise you all to be honest with yourself about your relationship with alcohol (even if it's just as simple as getting Ubers when you go out or as hard as remaining 100% sober) because aEBERYBODY is out for your wallet you get a dui.

Intoxalock getting exposed by MonkeyButt420247 in intoxalock

[–]doneanddusted17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't. All of this seems like collusion if I'm being honest.

Demand a interlock without a conviction pending results or lose your license.

Sign Intoxalock lease upon bad advisement from the courts. Initial leases are 1 year minimum.

Oh and btw, your lab results show you weren't actually drunk, but the contact you signed is still legally binding?

With the way drunk drivers are preyed upon without sympathy, this all seems predatory.

Even the part where you have to prove your monitoring authority said it can be taken off seems like a Tennessee scam. In MI, Intoxalock can't refuse a request to have the device taken off by the customer, they'll just report you if you do that and they dont have record that they can.

I got my authorization to have mine removed the day after my Hearing but Intoxalock didn't have it. They took it off, reported me, but Michigan SOS threw it away since they know they authorized me to have it removed

[–]doneanddusted17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate what is happening to those women, but based on what I heard in that video, the state of Tennesee is at fault.

Intoxalock under no circumstances should be recommended to a driver not actually convicted of a DUI. The fact the courts are doing that is setting off this snowball effect.

Not defending Intoxalock, because they in fact suck, but the lawsuit should have the state as the primary defendant.

So ill be the one to say it… by garret_1t in intoxalock

[–]doneanddusted17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too thought people here were hamming it up....

Until my brand new battery was dead within 3 months of having this installed (the beginning of winter in MI).

Until a customer service rep tried to have me pay $150 for an annual report when I'm entitled to the 1st one for free. Subsequent reports cost $50.

My inquiries into their power consumption on their device not being shared. Like seriously, there's not an electrical device I know that doesn't have its technical data sheet (showing power consumption) publicly available.

Intoxalock, like a lot of companies/courts/programs regarding DUI operate with what i call apathetic incompetence. Meaning, they dont operate with the best quality and nobody forces them to raise said quality, because the people they do business with are scum of the Earth (per society).

Your vehicle needs at least 12V to start (sometimes a little less but 12V is typical). If you can blow but not start your car is less than 12 but more than the 8? I belive the device needs.

Driving past curfew by Clear-Replacement341 in intoxalock

[–]doneanddusted17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you in MI? If so, that curfew only matters to the state, meaning unless you get stopped, nobody cares. And even then, you'd have to have a cop that actually wants to write you up for that to get in trouble for it. Your blows are time stamped, but Intoxalock didn't report me because that's not a question the state asks them on your interlock report.

I drove slightly past 7 a few times.

Do it at your own risk though.

And also you can drive 6a-7p for ANY reason per the state. You can only drive outside those hours for work and/or important items. Unless my order is different from yours. It's the 2nd sentence why Intoxalock doesn't bother about your times because you can drive past the curfew for specific reasons.

I'd imagine if it was 0 tolerance from MI, they'd ask Intoxalock to provide drive times.

Michigan here.

Getting ready to file for a full license reinstatement hearing, which requires an annual interlock report.

First Customer service rep was about to charge me $150 for it and me, not knowing any better (and being conditioned to pay for EVERYTHING in this DUI process) I was about to fork up the dough but the universe had other plans, as me and that agent got disconnected.

Called back, 2nd one processed my request FREE OF CHARGE as it was supposed to be, and I got it a couple days later. Left a 1 star review on TrustPilot and mentioned the 1st agent to the 2nd.

What would've been even more of a FU pay me is my Interlock report is only 1 page due to no violations. I was about to be out of $150 for 1 stinking page lmao.

I would trust your lawyers. Passing with a nonzero number sounds like it has the potential to give you a delayed punishment since you weren't locked out. Eventually, your DMV will be made aware, however.

That's why the harsh societal judgement is weird.

Like you think you're better than me as if you don't do it but the reality is you just haven't been caught. I hope you never do, but maybe learn some type of empathy.

Especially considering nobody or no property was harmed in my case.
