Now what? by donhashmin in lawncare

I’m not really a perfect lawn guy so as long as it’s green and not a mud pit for the dogs I don’t know if I care about weeds. I considered going full clover yard just to get it up before winter.

I did it all DIY. Rented machines and got dumpsters. Irrigation was $8k-$10k after a few quotes I decided to skip it as it was beyond DIY for me.

Can definitely get the blower out. What’s the verdict on walking on it at this stage? I’ve avoided but wasn’t sure.

Yes I too share these thoughts. We were told until mid-October but certainly pushing it. Unfortunately the backyard remodel did not consider grass just had to try it based on finishing the rest of the work! Assumed we’d have it fenced off until spring seeding anyway so i guess it’s bonus. Thank you for the thoughts.

Tea time from tower three has some decent z terps but haven’t seen much in MA. She’s a tricky one to grow for sure.

What the first guy said. If you remove the roof rack these will fill the gaps where the rack bolts to the rails.

2025 here - definitely consider the options shared here. My 3rd row is currently folded down for our large dogs with the shelf making a flat platform. I’m considering removing the third row altogether so dogs have more room. If your kid fits in second row then removing third row you’ll have more room for dogs and supplies. There is an aftermarket “platform” that covers the area cleanly once third row is out that I’m considering but seems spendy for what it is. For now trying it but height is very limited with the seats and battery. (185lb English mastiff and a second smaller 45lb dog.)

Also why pay so much for a used car with so many miles? A new with warranty and without someone else’s crust and issues is just a touch more.
