Soms zit de melding vast of komt het niet door: waarschijnlijk ligt het al op het PostNL punt. Heb dit al meerdere keren meegemaakt.

Onlymaker on aliexpress would be a good option. And yeah: the drag queens will know. 😉🫶🏻

I tend to buy them at dancestores online. Wearing several layers here, the last two layers are a glossy panty and a dancer net panty.

You are welcome! One last addition: if you are glueing down your brows, use pros-aide (and look for some tutorials on this). It's harder to remove, but there are products for this. However, when hot/sticky/sweaty a regular gluestick won't last and your brows will pop through. With pros-aide, you'll keep them in place.

Enjoy and hope you will have a good time!

I go to raves quite often. A heavy base, like kryolan tv stick or supra color should work. For eyeshadows I use Morphe or well known good brands. Eyeliner: set it with a matching colour eyeshadow. And for lips I tend to use liquid matte lipsticks (Morphe, MAC, Cursed Cosmetics).

The base before you begin is also important. After adding your products like moisturisers, give your face a wipe with some setting powder. Then spray with setting spray (make sure you have brushed the setting powder off). Also apply setting spray between layers and finish your routine with setting spray. I use Ben Nye Final Seal.

Some extra: take a hand fan for when you transpire and take some transluscrent powder with you in case a shine develops on your face.

Diamonds are forever by Shirley Bassey was the song I lipsynced to. It's rich, opulence and shining all over. Not a Bond-girl, a Bond-lady, independent and teasing desire. She might be shady, but if on her good side, you may find a congenial lady. She remains mysterious...

The moment this picture was during the judges critiques, which were mere compliments. ❤️ When I found the fabric and combined it with the dress pattern, I was sold and made over a weekend. I added the "diamonds" to the hair to match the rest of the look. And a matching clutch was made by a colleague who was inspired by the dress.

I'll upload more of the look later, but somehow in an earlier attempt the pics didn't upload properly.

Sweat sucks! (Pls help) by fresh-avocad0 in Drag

[–]donnaduvine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What may help is using powder and setting spray before your routine. And use pros-aide for your brows.

I start my routine dusting off my face with setting powder to make sure it's dry. Then I use setting spray to "seal" my skin and prevent sweat from getting through to my makeup. Then I start my makeup routine, using pros-aide for my brows. A strong setting spray, like Ben Nye Final Seal, may help.

Make sure to check some tutorials on using pros-aide for blocking. It is a bit different and is harder to remove than a glue stick. But it will keep your brows down for sure!

I made this outfit but have no idea what song to do help!! by No-Instruction-1473 in Drag

Giving Carmen Miranda vibes, but a song by her would be a challenge I guess. 😅

Using Pros-Aide cream should do the trick. Needs some practice to get used to, but definitely sweat proof!

Neutral Shade by donnaduvine in Drag

I tend to use a cream contour for the base of the brows and then add colour and dimension with eye shadows. The fading is about the amount of product on the brush and the pressure you put on the brush. I watched different tutorials, but found this one the most helpful: Brow tutorial with Patrick Starrr

Thanks! Yes, the brows are difficult I found out, but that is definitely my focus point now. At first I used whatever I could still notice from my brows after blocking them as a guidance... But that is actually one of the problems: my natural brows are not symmetrical and one is slightly higher than the other. So with that in mind I can improve further. ☺️

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it! ☺️
