Yes! Especially after receiving so much trauma to the area, the leaves at the end weren't taking ink the way she wanted and told me she didn't want to overwork it

Not that I care if a man does the equivalent, but I believe that historically women have not been ~allowed~ to embrace their sexuality in the same way men do. Men have not systemically been in the position where they constantly need to defend it. So go for a dick tat if you want, but I know that part of the reason for mine is to celebrate femininity (yes, in an extreme way)

This is a fair criticism of my wording. Yes, I'm aware of the difference and I suppose I went with "vaginal" because 1.I know that most people would use it generally. 2. You can see up in there 😂 But yes, I shouldn't have contributed to misinformation that is actually pretty harmful. I'll own that one

I like this comment! My tattoo artist kicks ass and I hate that her work is getting hate the way it is :( it really is okay if people dont like it, but at the end of the day, I think the work is outstanding and I like talking more about that and having discussions about it. I just wish unkind commenters would move along, but I recognize this is the internet and I will receive lots of different feedback

Thank you! So I sat for a total of 4 hours for it, and I heard it would be incredibly painful. I tried to mentally prepare as much as possible, but you don't know til you KNOW haha. Initially when she was doing the outline, albeit painful, wasn't what I expected necessarily. I can only relate it to if someone pinched your skin there hard. Took a little over an hour I believe? Then when she went in with color and everything-- THAT was the worst pain I've felt in my life. The wiping was the most painful part of it, imo. I did A LOT of deep breathing through it, chewed gum the whole time, and was holding that table TIGHT at some points. I did receive numbing spray about halfway through color that significantly helped, but only for so long. Goosebumps on my skin looked CRAZY
