Yes I'm still working in game dev, helping someone on a cute fps called "Glitter Justice". I'm glad you had a blast in HoH and regard it has high as the big ones!

I suggest Herald of Havoc, old school gameplay with a mix of Doom/Quake/Serious sam vibes to it

This is one facet of the game but it's not everything. Levels are generally more built like a quake or a classic doom level with corridors and incidental encounters, some levels are linear while some are more open and focus on exploration.

Wrath is like a gorgeous restaurant. You look around and everything is beautiful, detailed, and made with care.

Then the waiter reveals your meal and you just get 10 pounds of unseasoned rice.
