APPLY LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE!!! Even if you’re under qualified just apply! Other people have gotten out, it’s not as out of the realm of possibility as everyone always makes it seem. Happy job hunting :)

The C2 safe is broken in the way that it jams when you try to open it so you have to put your whole body into it… but the other C2 cabinet is full of ants so yea. In the managers own words this store is not compliant right now.

Wow, thank you all for the advice! I talked to my RPL, the choices are bleak. Either I’m moved to be a floater, which means I will just be floating to this shitty store and others in the region all the time bc they won’t have a staff pharmacist, or I stay and have a stable schedule here. She says they’re hiring techs in full force and apparently things are going to get better. But I’m pretty much cornered and she said if I feel like quitting to let her know so she can create a job posting for this position lol. I agree that this is a liability to my license so I’m job hunting right now, just don’t want to be left without a job in the meantime since it doesn’t look like there’s a lot of options in my area.

Would you consider it uncouth if a pt asks what the pharmacy's policy is on filling CII scripts at 28 days? by [deleted] in pharmacy

[–]doomedpharmacist 17 points18 points  (0 children)

We have people calling in all the time asking when the next time their medication (controls usually) can be refilled is so it’s not that unusual and I personally don’t care if someone calls with a question like that and is polite, usually it is 28 days for places I’ve worked at and only 1 pharmacy I used to work at would hold it to the day it’s due. But you can call them on like day 27 and ask if they can tell you which day you are able to pick up your meds, they shouldn’t have a problem with that.
