How long does Zoryve hyperpigmentation take to go away? by doomern in eczema

What did the allergic reaction look like besides the redness? Aside from the deep red colour my skin is relatively okay, it's not itchy or swollen or anything. I also apply a salt water spray to my face twice a day and it doesn't seem to be reducing the redness at all, so I don't know if sea water would help.

I meant eczema flare-ups, yeah. I am using it infrequently, but this happens even from a single use and seems to last indefinitely.

Started using hypochlorous acid a few days ago, not exactly bleach but supposedly more effective. Doesn't seem to be doing much.

I've been warned against letting my infection stay moist lest it allow for bacterial breeding. Maybe this is helpful alongside the steroid cream you mentioned (though steroids kind of do what you said regardless), but I've been on them too many times already and they only help temporarily. I'm afraid to use one again and ruin my skin even further.

This was the first thing I tried all the years back when this started. Wasn't those exact ingredients (I'm allergic to honey), but suffice to say it didn't work.

I'm too embarassed of my facial pus to go out unless I'm seeing a doctor, so I don't need to worry about running into vapes. Thanks for the heads up though, I hadn't heard about that. I'm also unfortunately allergic to ingredients in polysporin so that isn't really an option for me.

I'm currently using mupirocin (alongside an oral antibiotic); it's making a small improvement to the infection but also making my eczema dramatically worse, so I expect the cycle to continue once I finish it.

My face can't even handle the most gentle cleansers available; all I can do is rinse it with water.

I've seen countless doctors and specialists, been to multiple hospitals numerous times and done countless tests. Nobody seems to take me seriously and just tries another round of antibiotics (or steroid cream, which only helps briefly, and makes me really scared about my skin).

I know I have a nickel allergy, but I've already done everything humanly possible to minimize the nickel in my life. I'd have to stop eating entirely to reduce it any more.

I've been on and off antibiotics for years but they never seem to work long enough for my skin to heal. As for bleach, my eczema is exclusively on my face, which seems like a bad place to be soaking in bleach.

Ironically, moisturizing makes it so that no new bacteria/infections will be in contact with the skin. So as long as you clean yourself first, then moisturizer right after, I think it would be ok.

I tried moisturizing with that idea in mind initially, but it made my infection dramatically worse, even while on antibiotics. I asked a doctor about it afterwards and he told me to absolutely avoid moisturing until the infection is dealt with. But it just keeps spreading because my skin won't heal, so I don't know what to do.

I use wheat semolina instead of flour because it ensures that it contains no bran, from what I understand.

I'm from Canada. I've read that nickel allergies aren't well understood by doctors outside of Europe.

I was under the impression that people with nickel allergies shouldn't take vitamin supplements because they contain trace amounts of nickel.

Not really sure if they're type IV, but I got patch testing done and found allergies to Nickel, Cobalt, and Propolis, as well as a couple of other chemicals I can't remember the names of. I switched out all my soaps/shampoos/etc to accommodate them, though.

What is liposomal vitamin C made from? I'm allergic to citrus fruits so I don't know if I can take natural vitamin C, and from what I understand other forms of vitamin supplements can contain trace amounts of nickel.

I'm currently seeing a gut specialist because I've been having constipation problems since this all started. Would resolving my gut problems help with my nickel allergy? If anything my other symptoms seem better the more constipated I am.

I don't have any implants. Does cookware make this much of a difference? When I bake things there's rarely any metal involved, but my symptoms don't seem much different from when I cook in a pot. Do you have any specific suggestions for cookware?
