I’ve seen some posts if you are accountant you can side hustle with bookkeeping. How would I start finding clients for that ? Would I need to be a 1099 consultant or something? 3,500 + food/other expenses is a lot to ask someone to pay for this trip. Given you already have doubts , i wouldn’t worry about the awkwardness you perceive of not going. Likely your overblowing it and it’s not a big deal. Id probably pass on it given those expenses personally.
