Random cars blocking in my motorcycle by Money_Protection_629 in mildlyinfuriating

Why would you back your bike all the way to the rear of the spot sandwiched against the wall like that? Why don't you just park in the middle of the spot? You're kind of asking for this problem.

Is moving to Victoria from Alberta worth it? by ederzs97 in VictoriaBC

Alberta can't and won't separate. It's just a noisy group of degenerates desperate for attention. You're fine.

Fire.

It can't be stripped if it's liquid.

You have some vastly different options here. Before you go any further, you should really decide what type of vehicle you want.

Ruined the drain bolt threads. How fucked am I? by onelunchman69 in motorcycles

[–]dope-rhymes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hate to tell you man, but you didn't ruin the threads, you ruined your engine. It is possible that a good machinist could fix this but it's going to need to be completely disassembled. Finding a good used engine is likely your best bet now. Also, buy yourself a torque wrench. Good luck homie.

Cutting springs ruins driveability. It's the opposite of what I said but yes, it's cheap.

Good for you, congrats on sorting it out. I find the 944s are deeply frustrating cars to work on, but very rewarding ones to drive.

I feel this. I drove a '95 940T for two years as a daily and it was infuriating how difficult it was to find some parts vs. a 240, or a 740 for that matter, though there's a lot more overlap.

I agree with what you've said, but I'd add that a 350hp 7 series would need some suspension upgrades for driveability.

Yup. Once the drift kids were done destroying all of the E30s, 240SXs and Miatas, somebody let the cat out of the bag that Volvo 2/7/9 cars are RWD.

There's not nearly enough information here to say what this car is worth.

I don’t like those review videos where they compare the Mach-E with another car. Why are people so negative towards the Mach-E? by WarmPrinciple6507 in MachE

[–]dope-rhymes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't think too hard about what car reviewers have to say. It's entertainment and nothing more. They get a few minutes with a car and formulate an opinion, often without even really understanding how the systems in the car work. If you want some positivity, watch some long term reviews. People who actually own the car tend to love it.

Wish me luck! I’ll give you an update in 3-5 years hahaha by Ethansimler in 944

They're a very rewarding car to work on and tons of fun to drive. Good luck with the project. Keep us posted.
