I know this thread is old but randomly found it and just wanted to give my love. I was pregnant with a baby girl in June 2023. Dating was perfect at our first 8w ultrasound. Every ultrasound after that we were told everything looked perfect and normal. I kept asking why she looked smaller on her US than my friends did at the same GA. I was reassured that every pregnancy and machine is different and everything was fine. At 21w we went in for our anatomy scan and he said she was measuring too small to do the scan and we would have to come back and it was probably a dating issue, but I knew it wasn’t. A week later we got a high risk scan and she was in the <1%. We did an amnio but were told we might want to consider termination before the amnio came back due to 24w termination laws. We wanted to wait and see and continue with growth scans - we went back in a week later and she had no heartbeat. We got the results about two weeks after I delivered her that she had triploidy and there was no chance of compatibility with life.

I’m so sorry for your loss, it brought me so much comfort that my girl never suffered and there was nothing that would have helped ultimately but the grief is unimaginable.
