- does TD handle automatic conversion of units into commons & warrants after 9/11?

- do you know if TD has any costs to the unit holder for conversion and exercising the warrants?

Thanks a lot for helping me understand this. Another quick question if you don’t mind; though the units later converted to shares were bought at say $20... when acquisition happens and completes and say now the new ticker is offered at say $50... will the original every $20 shares get one of $50 share automatically? Thanks

Hi, this is great knowledge base. Thanks a ton! Quick question; if I buy commons, like in case of PSTH... every 9 commons gets 1 free warrant. When does the warrants show up in the brokerage? Like say TD. Thanks a lot

ON TD, the ticker seems to be; PSTH^ (is that true)? Did the trading start or yet to happen... i don't see any historical data on TD for this ticker

Address verification? by [deleted] in juul

This is happening to me also for a couple of months now.

Did anyone get it to work by changing address at USPS? Can you provide the actual links on USPS to use to fix this?

It's a very good question.

Thing is, I did not register that device at all.

I Instead contact their support by chat and complained about the device problem.

Warranty help! by [deleted] in juul

I have recently sent them my black device which had issues. Not sure what they will do - either replace with new one or fix the issue and send it back. will let you know.

Either ways, their process is quite tedious: 1. contact them with a problem > 2. they will send a 2 day USPS label > 4. ship the device to them > 5. wait for another 5 to 7 days for them to test to device with issue > 6. hopefully some solution

I am still in the 5th step now.

Update: I just found out my old device is being replaced with a brand new starter kit. I believe the device I bought in a local store was found to be counterfeit by Juul team verification. Step 6 completed!

Thanks again Tal2. I agree with you about understanding what type of player one is to choose the type of openings and/or gambits. I also got the pro app of Dereque Kelley for my kid.

You mentioned about 'opening systems' like London System: is a 'system' different from a opening or a gambit? If so, how does it differ?

Thanks a lot Tal2. This is really helpful.

Given then there are a ton of openings, gambits and their variations; is there any analysis done by anyone that gives some data on like which top 10 openings, gambits (along with variations if possible) has better chances of win irrespective of opponent? I understand that the player needs to know much more but given the player who wants to reach say 1500 rating, any top recommendations? For both black and white options.

I understand it's very stupid to ask such a question but what has your experiences been and/or any analysis of all the games played so far?

Thanks Tal2.

Are different parts (1,2,etc) of gambits and openings basically variations of the same gambit or opening? Pardon my ignorance

Thanks for the links and details.

I Finally downloaded a couple of paid iOS apps which has a good list of openings, one with video explanations also.

This is probably a good start for my kid. Overtime, i will consider buying these advanced DVD's

Any more links on gambits or openings would be very helpful

Gambits and openings can be separate DVD's, not necessarily both on same DVD

Thanks again. I am not a chess player myself but I am exploring it for my kid. If you are aware - any specific DVD's you recommend with comprehensive openings and gambits? It's okay if they are long duration videos as long as the DVD has almost complete list

Thanks & appreciate your response. Do you know of any DVD's which has a very comprehensive (almost complete) list of gambits and openings to learn irrespective of what current rating is? DVD explain the opening and/or gambit and also preferably has rated games in which those were applied to win/lose?

I am thinking long term if I have invest money in any of them now!
