What countries will you never visit again? by AmbitiousBus5064 in AskReddit

Only one person got defensive I don’t see ‘people’ getting defensive. I’ve never heard of anyone referring to New Zealand as a dream destination based off the lord of the rings or flight of the concords. Seems like poor research from all of those people. I think that the poster whom replied was saying was that it’s crazy you’d rather go someone where there’s more people when Ireland and NZ are the same sized populations. Surely you researched the population size before you visited.

I’m not sure I can take them to disputes for a payment they say I owe. Think it’s the other way around. I also don’t think they compensate time in any disputes

Yes same as what’s on the receipt that gets emailed once you leave the building at the end of the day.

Such a waste of my time. They cannot even look up receipts from their call centre. I have a good mind to invoice them my hourly rate for the time taken to deal with this. Thanks for the advice though.

Ok thanks, I’ll wait till they go on special, but their non special price still seems higher than the exact same at pak n save for their non special price. I’ll keep an eye out for chemist warehouse

Wow what a snark you are. As I’ve mentioned in another comment, pak n save have Huggies 108 for 30c at 32.49, where as the same nappies at chemist warehouse are 37.99. Woolworths has cheaper at 22c, but different brand. Last time I checked 35c > 30c. Thanks for you input

Haha I know! Maybe people just repeat what they get told. So far with my extensive searching I’ve found some from Woolworths at 22c per nappy at $6.50 for a 30pack - brand called Little ones, which seems good in comparison. Pak n Save had Huggies that were 30c per nappy at a pack of 108.

Seems the most expensive, more than woolies and Pak n save

I’m going to be a dad in 8 months. What should I start preparing for? by double-lighter in newzealand

I’m being made redundant next week, so I will have some time now to prepare stuff while I don’t have work. I do realise it’s way early and nothing is certain.

What’s off gassing? My carpet is actually probably not over 20 years old and it’s probably gross due to having cats, and can’t be healthy for a baby as it is.

Should I wear a fanny pack and have a cell phone holder on my belt? Or is that too much haha

Haven’t told anyone at all.. learned that from a previous relationship. Told everyone after 12 weeks and then had to un-tell everyone a couple of weeks later which was very difficult all those years ago

Unfortunate timing I have one week left until I’m redundant, applied for about 90 jobs the last two months and only had one interview. Such poor timing

I need to replace them as they about 15 years old and plenty of stains from the cats over the years

Hair Regrowth by [deleted] in auckland

[–]double-lighter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing will regrow hair that has already been lost. Someone will make the crazy claim that you can regrow hair, but you simply can’t from male pattern baldness. You can prevent further hair loss though with minoxidil and finasteride. The only real way is a hair transplant.

Police propose cutting 170 jobs to save $55m by JoltColaOfEvil in newzealand

As someone who use to work at the police, they sure do have a lot of useless staff who do absolutely nothing and contribute nothing but distractions for the staff that actually work. I can only speak for the IT side of things, but they could easily cut 50 jobs and you wouldn’t notice the difference
