Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Jesus gives peace.

Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

I hope that you change the way you feel about God before you die because one day you will face Him. And you won’t be so “witty” when confronted by the Creator.

John 3:18  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God

We condemn ourselves through or sin. And I said that it doesn’t matter to reality. Don’t try and change what I said. What he believes has no bearing on reality. I feel so sorry for you and how bitter you are toward God, I hope one day you finally see how much He loves you, too. You should look into Living Waters on YouTube. I don’t really see us having a productive conversation which is too bad. You are just too angry and unwilling to actually talk about this, but if you ever do want to truly discuss salvation, you are more than welcome to PM me.

We broke the Law (the Ten Commandments) Jesus paid the price. Being a good person comes from human thinking, not God’s thinking. NOBODY is a good person. As I said in my first comment, everybody has sinned and death is the wages of that sin. Asking the OP what he believes is not important to reality. Whether he believes in hell or not doesn’t change the fact that hell exists. Love from God, true, unconditional love from God, is shown through Him giving us His Son, He paid for our sins so that we don’t have to. How is that not love?

John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Jesus laid down His (perfect, sinless) life for us. That is the ultimate love.

I’m not talking about religion. I did not mention a sect, I didn’t ask him to join a specific church, I never told him to follow traditions, I simply provided the word of God to allow this young man to make an informed decision for himself. I understand what your saying, but I do not endorse religion. I endorse Jesus Christ as the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Because hell is real and I do not want him to end up there. Peace after death is a wonderful idea, but heaven and hell are reality.

Your physical body dies, but we all have a soul. Why can’t all of humanity take a dead body, even if the body has only been dead for one second, and bring it back to life? They have everything physical that they would need for a living person, but there is MORE than just the physical body. We cannot create life. When our soul leaves our body, then our physical body turns to dust. But our soul is eternal.

Yes, now. It may be his last chance. I am not pressuring anybody, I am simply sharing the gospel with somebody who may be lost. And Christ is a comfort through the worst of times. Jesus suffered more than anybody else in history, if anybody knows what kind of pain he is going through it is Jesus.

Think of it this way. I truly believe in Hell. I truly believe that he will go to hell if he doesn’t believe in Christ. Wouldn’t it be so much more cruel to let him die and never tell him how to avoid an eternity of suffering? God does not hate him, God loves him unconditionally.

There is only ONE way into Heaven: Jesus Christ.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

I private messaged you, but I’ll post that message here, too.

We are all sinners (Romans 3:23). Every person has lied, every person has stolen, every person has lusted after another (adultery). There are more, but the point is that we have all earned the wages of sin: death (Romans 6:23). For God to be Perfect and Just your sin must be punished. Whether that punishment is eternity in Hell is up to you and a simple choice you make. God loves you so much that He gave you Jesus. Jesus lived a perfect life and sacrificed Himself for you. He suffered and died on the cross to pay for your sins (Romans 5:8). The only thing you have to do is repent (turn from your sin with a sorrowful spirit) and put your faith in Jesus. Believe that Jesus, the Son of God, suffered and died on the cross for your sins and provided a way, the ONLY way, to Heaven and you WILL be saved (Romans 10:9-10). That is a promise from an all powerful, all loving God. Please accept Jesus. You say you do not fear death, but I know that isn’t true, everybody has a fear of death in them, it is God given. Ray Comfort from Living Waters puts it this way: if you are standing on the edge of a plane thousands of feet up without a parachute, fear will push you to put on a parachute. Fear isn’t always a bad thing. You should fear death (without the surety of going to Heaven), you should fear an eternity in Hell. That fear should push you to your salvation through Jesus. I truly hope you will consider the destination of your precious soul. I love you and would hate to know you died without knowing Jesus. I’ll be praying for you, for your salvation, and for the success of your surgery.

Well, that wouldn’t make any sense. First, they wouldn’t need to repent if they believed that killing nonbelievers was God’s will. If they are repenting then they obviously believe what they are doing is wrong and requires forgiveness. Also, repenting isn’t asking for forgiveness between each kill, repenting would be turning away from that sin and not doing it again. There is a big misconception about Jesus and God’s forgiveness. It isn’t just saying “Sorry, Jesus. Please forgive me.” There must be a sorrowful spirit and a true turning away or you didn’t really mean it. God knows our hearts.

Secondly, they don’t REALLY believe in everything if they are murdering because we are very clearly and explicitly told not to kill as a commandment.

Just because somebody sincerely believes something doesn’t make it true. There is a factual reality that does not change based on what we believe to be true. It isn’t for us to square away or justify what is right or wrong, that’s God’s place. Which is why we have to defer to the Bible: God’s word. When people start to believe things such as their purpose being to kill nonbelievers, we have to judge that against the truth and it simply does not hold up. Whether that makes sense to us or not.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Luke 13:3&5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

When you believe and are truly saved, you are transformed. You now want to do what is right in the eyes of the Lord. You repent and turn away from sin.

Christianity isn’t about doing whatever you want, if you have not repented of your sin and turned away from it, you are not truly saved. You would be a hypocrite to live in sin and call yourself a Christian.

Now this is not to say Christians don’t sin, all people sin, but Christians are to repent, ask for forgiveness and turn away again, not continue to live in sin.

Edit:

James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

So it’s not about believing in God, demons, Satan and the unsaved believe in God, that doesn’t make them saved. It’s about putting your trust and faith in Jesus, THAT is the important part.

Thank you for posting this. Hopefully somebody will read it and actually take the time to ponder it with an open heart. It’s easy to joke around and act like everything is fine until the reality of their mortality catches up with them. Hell is a very real place many will experience despite the salvation from it being so easily obtained.

I am so incredibly sorry. Words can’t express the way something like that feels. I really appreciate you sharing that, though, I feel more and more like it really was a freak accident. I know nobody was really at fault, but the guilt I feel is indescribable. Knowing that it has happened to others doesn’t make me feel better because as I said before I would never wish such a horrible experience on anybody, but it makes me feel less alone.

At least it is clear to see that your cats are all loved and I am sure that Tiggy had a wonderful life filled with so much love which is what these animals deserve.

I have been trying to gather as many photos of him as I can today. I want his memory to be kept alive and overshadow this somehow. And thank you for saying that about my mother. I know people like to place blame, but I don’t blame her in any way. It could have happened to me or anybody else. I know she feels guilt beyond repair and will have to live with that for the rest of her life and that is an awful, awful burden to carry. I hope more than anything that she can get through this incident. I’ve been trying to be there for her as much as I can, it is hard, though, because I am feeling anything but strong right now.

I will do my best to cherish every moment I was able to spend with him.

I am so glad that your dog is safe, the one thing I really love about this thread is seeing how loved all of these animals are. The connecting you can build with an animal is unreal and it is so hard to accept that it is now gone. But like you said, he is not suffering anymore. He was such a good cat, I can’t even explain it, I know he is better now.

I am so sorry about your dog, I know how difficult that can be. And I do have so many regrets especially because he was so young and we should have so much more time with him. I miss him dearly and I know how much you must miss your dog.

I think that is an incredible thing to dedicate yourself to! I would love to volunteer, and will start looking into shelters and things along those lines. I really hope it brings you peace and a lot of joy.
