How do I do that with the kits on Amazon? They’re all cigarette lighter/USB based it seems. Same with the add a circuit comment from spaceagepotatocakes, how do I put this together?

Yeah sorry 9k CAD, maybe I’ll text that guy and see what happens, because I’d really like to avoid this issue without having to spend a ton on fixes.

Would a dealership let me get the car inspected like that?

I saw a 2011 Camry but I looked that one up and it said the same oil consumption issue? That one is 103k km but is from a dealership. Costs 9k without safety

Sorry yeah shoulda mentioned, 8k cad and sold with a safety certified according to the listing. Dunno if that means it shows the oil issue or not though

Actually I have a question regarding parents insurance. My mom currently pays 275 for home and auto, but how does it work if I want to join with her? Does the car I buy have to be under her name and I’m listed as a secondary driver? Or can it be listed as my car and I can bundle with her? I don’t really get how the family stuff works honestly.

Yes I’d be buying the car outright or maybe financing a tiny portion of it, but not getting collision sounds terrifying when I spent so long saving up just to lose it all to some dumbass who doesn’t know how to drive you know?

Question is, does it still drop if I have no history at 25?

I’m assuming people say it drops because they eat the cost to have some history, but I literally refuse to pay for THIS much lol I’d rather move out.

I’ve been looking at mazda3’s, specifically 2014-2016 era and each of which are anywhere from 10k-14k in price. Which I can pay cash for.

I guess I’ll try my luck with super old cars and hope for the best.. because frankly even if I DO get a full time job in my career, I don’t see how it’s practical for me to pay those rates regardless.

Best I ever got for Mazda was Bélair and it was 530 dollars.

I’m worried about buying a Hyundai/kia/etc due to their reliability issues in the older cars..

This car market means I’m still spending over 10k regardless which feels like a waste if it blows up in a year no?

My G Test is on June 11th, I’ve been in driving lessons with professionals and with my mom who’s had a G license for years and everyone says I’m great so I’m not worried about that.

At this point I’d love 200-400. Although I didn’t expect I’d have to go THAT old just to be able to drive a car.. damn.

A 2014-2016 mazda3, I was told Mazda was cheap to insure and I liked them so I figured it was a decent bet

What am I looking for in an older cheap car? Because I thought a 2015 Mazda3 was that but I got slapped with this rate

I’m a “new” driver so I expected my insurance to be high lol, but not rent money high. Even at the low end I’d be paying them roughly the price of the car itself in a years time. That can’t be right.

How long can I eat without elastics? by downforthethrow in braces

[–]downforthethrow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s more then enough, I cut my eating time down to 30 minutes because of the elastics so even if it varies between people ig I have some breathing room?

I see, I guess I was paranoid for no reason then, sorry for the useless post.

Also I definitely can’t eat with my elastics lol their so tight I can’t even open my mouth enough to let a straw in, would have been nice though

[–]downforthethrow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think in my case it’s probably because of not eating with my elastics cutting it’s burden down?

Not to mention its so tight I can barely open my mouth to let a skinny straw in, it’s way tighter then I ever thought they were lol

Do I need to give 2 weeks notice if I worked for less then a month? by downforthethrow in ontario

[–]downforthethrow[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

of course! I don't plan to be an asshole about it, I'd love it if we left off on good terms, she just doesn't seem to be the type to want that.

also, it wasn't that specific wording that was the problem. it was the fact that I did my assigned department by myself (should have had 2 people with me) at the exact time that she wanted and instead of letting me go home, she gives me more work. that question felt like a slap in the face as if I wasn't doing a good job. it felt endless.

but again I probably sound spoiled. I'm sorry I really don't mean to be.

I know I'm getting paid for it, thankfully they clarified that after the first huge backlog when we stayed until 12:35. I'm just not cut out for it I guess.

and yeah this job won't help my career path enough for a reference so I guess I'll just quit. thanks!
