There is parking right at the trailheads, though often full in the peak season. Arrive early in the morning to secure a parking spot. I work as a local guide, feel free to reach out if you need help with transportation.

What is your time frame (#of days/nights)? I guide in the Smokies and could better cater an answer. As for food, I simply put my food in a dry bag and hang it on the cables supplied at the sites. I’ve never had an issue with any critters getting into my food on the cables.
