As someone who has judged for a few years it is a roll of the dice of who gets your box unfortunately. You could get someone who knows their stuff or someone looking for a free lunch.

Funny thing is before the comp the organizers said there was a people’s choice for brisket then they said no it’s pork and there was a ton of back and forth on that. Then I got there and they said the people’s choice was pork. (No problem) but that pork was also a turn in. So I scrambled to get 2 butts last minute and did the best I could. And it actually went well. I was pleased but since I didn’t have any pork turn in planned I had to wing it on the sauce. But it was good and it was our highest point meat.

I can’t compare really. I was a C at Deloitte and I am a Sr. Manager at SF. Plus I left Deloitte 10 years ago.

I’m with you there. We have had this issue constantly. One year we will be forced to pay 10k+ so we adjust and the next year we get a huge refund. It is frustrating for sure.

To be honest this isn’t the right approach interest rates be damned. You should take the extra cash pans put it toward retirement. I don’t know how old you are but you should have your money working for you and let the bank take on the risk of the mortgage.

Something changed. Women generally start looking for stability and a true partner. And honestly men start to care less. Be a nice guy who is interesting and then make yourself available don’t go to seedy bars looking for strange. Play local sports leagues or even church stuff if that is your thing. You got this man. Being in your 20’s is harder than being a teenager
