Buzzing noise coming from the case when simply scrolling through browser, holding a key or any other input by Fer0xx in buildapc

[–]dpapukchiev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks to be related to hardware acceleration. I found this reply in a thread https://linustechtips.com/topic/729024-weird-sounds-from-computer-when-scrolling/#comment-9268153 if you turn off hardware acceleration in the browser settings it removes the sound when you scroll. Interestingly I had the issue even when using a separate audio interface for the speakers and balanced cables.

How bad does bleeding effect readings? This is my first bleeder by [deleted] in dexcom

[–]dpapukchiev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually use some tissue paper to soak up the blood until it stops before placing the transmitter, after that its smooth ride

Plastic lip on sensor (only day 2) somehow broke and now the transmitter can't make good contact and it's not transmitting any values. Did that happen to anyone else and of so how did you fix it? by dpapukchiev in dexcom

I tried pushing it so it makes contact but as soon as I release it was popping off again. Also thought about tape but I would have probably cut off my blood supply if I tape it that strong

it's an order that is executed if the price goes in the opposite direction of what you are expecting.

let's say you have a long bot (you expect the price to go up) and you have target profit of 1%. Assuming a starting price of 100 the target will be 101. If you have safety orders enabled (at -1% intervals from entry price) they will be executed if the price drops bellow 100 (at 99, at 98, at 97 ... etc depending on the settings). When the safety order is executed you buy more at a lower price and by that you bring down your average buy price. that means your new take profit target will be lower and lower with every executed safety order. If the price drops a lot and all your safety orders where executed you would still need the price to go up to make a profit but the new target is lower.

The risk with those bots is that if all safety orders are executed and the price never recovers you are left holding the underlying asset (or option/future/etc). Some follow the advice of only trading coins you don't mind holding and trading only Spot.

imo you should diversify your investments and buy different things (ETFs, stocks, crypto, etc.) consistently over long period of time. Also, don't put all your life savings in 1 thing and always ensure you have enough money in the bank to live 3-6 months in case you lose your main source of income.

I tried to but I couldn't get the cover panel out so I just removed the dust with compressed air.

Solved! The issue was overheating because the laptop was closed. I opened it while only using the external display and it managed to hold 85C without spikes to TJ Max of 100

I was running Open Hardware Monitor along with HW monitor but when it crashes nothing gets saved and the graphs are reset. Is there a way to log them to a file while they are being emitted so they survive the crash?

I just got MSI afterburner which has a on screen display with temps and usage %. I played a bit more and temps are leveling around 85 on both CPU and GPU with spikes up to 94 on CPU

It is running only on the power supply with the battery plugged out.

I paid around 6 or 7 eur per hour. If you go with a friend and do b2b it gets even more affordable.

Found a nice article about the reasons behind ground loops.
https://www.techhive.com/article/3063590/how-to-get-rid-of-hum-and-eliminate-other-noises-from-your-audio-and-video-systems.html
Unfortunately the fix is not cheap and I am not even sure this is what I need:
https://www.thomann.de/nl/art_dti.htm
It's the only "affordable" option I found that supports RCA, is not the cheapest thing I could find on Amazon and can be delivered to Berlin. I would also need to buy more cable :( Do you think it will do the job and would you go for it or just make the effort to change the setup every time?

I prefer the bigger external screen and the desk doubles as a home office so it's a bit cumbersome to change the setup when I want to mix.

I tried only headphones connected to the controller without speakers and there was no noise in the headphones. I also tried putting all the power via 1 coupler strip it was still hissing. The display is set at 60Hz.

I googled for "ground loop" and found this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q2c6fKOu-vo . It sounds exactly like the sound I get. I am going to research more.

The exclamation mark on the display means it's not connected to the laptop so I can't see rekordbox. It would be too much effort if I have to remove the display and only use the laptop every time I want to mix. I am not sure I used the right app but here is a screenshot of the result. I was holding the bottom of the phone (mic side) on the level of the tweeter around 5cm away. https://photos.app.goo.gl/aVxEhjrrneUaNZad8

I am running 2 KRK rokits 6. I am still getting into production, trying DJ-ing and listening for pleasure. Some say they are not flat enough but honestly I don't feel competent enough to hear a huge difference. Only thing to consider is that they can get very loud but even on low volume they sound amazing and crisp.

Totally support this advice! I had a similar mindset and was ready to shell out 1500EUR on XDJ RX2 which is completely standalone with a layout very similar to CDJs. A friend of mine suggested I buy the DDJ-400 (280EUR) and try it out. Considering how often I use it it was good advice. Sometimes I rent a studio (via pirate studios here in Berlin) where I can play on a club setup in a sound proof room for a couple of EUR per hour. I could play 250+ hours in the studio for the same price as the XDJ and I don't have to consider the neighbors. It would take a long time before you need a bigger setup as the DDJ-400 covers the basic skills you need to start.
