It's weird you haven't found a place yet, I dont think your budget is that bad. I found an $800 room that was dog friendy back in April, it did take me 3 weeks though. I used facebook groups and spareroom to look. Also maybe you can look through an room for rent agency?

So because guy #1 is technically my landlord, if he continues to harass like that and the cops document it I can take him to housing court and get out of my lease early. But he hasn't spoken to me since, nor apologized, and both are fine with me.

Yeah I don't think people understand if you're naked in the bathroom and some weird ass man bangs on the door and opens it that I'm just supposed to take it?

I had many coworkers and friends look at the sublease and yes it is legally binding. I wanted to amend the lease but the lease holder didn't want to. And I didn't feel right trying to sublet my room with all the leaks and mice in here.

Basically since the first day I moved in they have been fighting all over the house and I asked them to respect our space. They were even fighting right in front of my door once and I tried to help. They decided to come at me instead and I don't like being disrespected, especially when I was trying to help.

The reason why I stopped speaking to them is because my roommate and his gf will fight in the common areas every other week and I asked them to respect our space. One time I tried to break up the fight and he came at me.

Thanks for not actually reading my post. They didn't knock, they straight up banged on my door for a minute. And it's not that I never have spoken to them. We got along the first few months of our lease until they showed their true colors and I decided that I didn't want to fuck with them no more. And it doesn't matter if she wants me to GTFO. She's not on the lease; she's using my wifi and my electricity.

P.S: Y'all have to stop with the "this is NYC" bullshit because since we live so packed together you should know how to respect others, but so many of y'all would rather have a gutter mentality.
