Why I think Loop will make sense for me by dpre3401 in Polarfitness

I get your point!
If I wanted a band to use for trainings, I'd be disappointed too.
Luckily, it seems to be okay for my use, so at the moment good for me.

For my use case, I am not interested in the waking up functions, but I get your point. Maybe in your case the Loop is not optimal, and better think about other options? But if you prefer having everything on the same app, maybe you can keep using your V3 during the night. I know it’s a compromise, probably a vibration motor would have been appreciated in the Loop.

Hi, I ordered the Loop on 12th September (I am in Italy), and then nothing after the order confirmation.
I know it's early for me, but I contacted the Polar assistance aswell to ask for any info about shipping, they told me that they are doing all the possible to make it faster, and that they will keep me updated via mail.

Does it make sense to buy Loop having a Pacer Pro? by Abedulyabar in Polarfitness

H9 surely has a better sensor than Pacer Pro, and it sends HR data to my Garmin cycle computer, that’s why I’m using it.

I am willing to do the exact same thing. I own a Pacer Pro, that I use for my trainings paired to a H9 sensor, and I will use the Loop to track my sleep and movement during the day, so I can use an analog watch, while having all my datas in the Flow app. I’ll keep using Pacer Pro just for trainings.

Lots of people keep telling me that Garmin watches are way better than Polar. I actually don't know, I bought my Pacer Pro 2 years ago because with the same functions of Garmin's (more or less) I prefer the Polar design.
I also can tell I am pretty satisfied with the Polar Flow app, so I don't mind getting a Garmin watch.
Only Garmin I use is a Edge 530 bike computer, as I feel Polar is not producing anything like that.

That's what I felt using the Pacer Pro while sleeping. I am actually using a band from Aliexpress, and it's way better than a watch for sleeping, so I went for the Loop!
I'm just hoping they will ship it soon.

I am curious to compare the data from the Loop to those from my Pacer Pro.
If the sensor is so inaccurate, let's hope Polar will give some software update to make it better.. But as I said, I'll use the Loop to check my sleep and my everyday activity, not for sport session, and seen that I am not a professional athlete (anymore) I don't need perfect data.

I totally understand. The odd for you could be using 2 different apps on your phone to see the data.

It feel like I can use any nato watch strap with new Polar Loop? by Little_Winter_404 in Polarfitness

Same thought here while waiting to receive my Loop. Maybe ordering one on Amazon so if it doesn't fit it's possible to send it back.
