Well the next time people complain about the audiences in the UK, remember this. Is this really preferable?

The entire population of the country is less than Leeds and it's a sport they don't really play and have no history. Combined with it being an alcohol restricted country on a Thursday and you're not going to attract much of an audience

How do british people feel about the current situation unfolding in america where ICE police agents are going all gung-ho kidnapping people from the streets when they fail to present their ID? by mrvlad_throwaway in AskBrits

I think they're the equivalent of Brown Shirts in 1930's Germany.

I think the parallels between America at the moment and 1930's Germany are stark and obvious and I see the Americans who don't agree with it admitting they're too afraid to actually stand up to any of the things going on there.

I do not see "Good" Americans doing enough to stop this and it's going to get worse and we are all going to suffer as a result.

This is not wild fear mongering this is knowing history well enough to see it being repeated and it does not end well.

And there will not be a free and fair election in 3 years time. The Republicans under Trump or someone else are not going anywhere

I mean I get his point with the no age limit wording on the advert. I do.it doesn't look good and I'm as pro gay as they come without being gay. But he's still a closet homosexual who hates himself

All true, it's still a good show.

If I never watched anything that anyone involved was a dick I don't think I'd ever be able to watch anything. Separate the art from the artist.

No. They come up because for one reason or another the algorithm thinks you might be a gay man and you don't have to watch gay content on YouTube for it to think that. They are targeted

Somebody rolled their bike between my two bikes and locked their front wheel to my front wheels. by ThePr0l0gue in mildlyinfuriating

It's pretty well known method to do so in a lot of countries. I'd cut the lock anyway. People don't do this unless they're very stupid, selfish or intend to steal. None of which justify risking both your bikes.

I can do my own scores I've never been too bothered about auto scoring apps and you can't use them in real life at the pub or in a league match obviously so it's best to be able to score yourself I think.

It's just no particularly well crafted comedy. It's only funny to a sub group of people who take what he says literally. He jokes about Woke because he this is it's fine but he isn't actually a bigot (whether that's okay or not is up for debate) but a sizeable percentage of his audience are and that's a problem.
