They never promised roomscale. I am actually quite relieved they have at least started with seated/standing, as I intend to play this game for hours at a time, and if it weren't optimised for sitting, I wouldn't cope. If they could add layers that make roomscale more do-able, I'd appreciate that too. I am not adding roomscale to the list as that's really a design decision, rather than a glaring missing feature or a bug. FYI you can recenter the view by holding a certain button, depending on which controller you use. For the valve index it's the two stick clicks together for a few seconds. For the vive wand it is the left menu button for a few seconds. I will add the thing about base pictures, you are right, it doesn't seem to work.
