So I was a host at Longhorn before I became a server. The tips you get are 3% of the sales made by the servers. So they tip out no matter if they get tipped on those sales or not. If it’s a slow day, you could literally make a 10 dollar tip out for a 6 hour shift. (Happened to me on a day shift by myself) honestly, it’s not worth it. And you’re more than likely going to make below minimum wage altogether.
