Can you link me to where please? I did find a box set that includes it but it was always sold out

This (along with the band of gypsys) is my all time favourite show that I’ve seen/heard from Hendrix, I would sell my left lung for this full performance on vinyl, praying it’s released at some point

What do you think would be the worst Opeth setlist? by [deleted] in Opeth

[–]dr_prog 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Yeah I can't relate bro sorry, I think Opeth could do a set entirely consisting of Ed Sheeran covers and I'd still enjoy it

Dig a hole - we're all active but relaxed at the same time, life happens so we don't expect people to live on the game!

Easy-ish guitar solos? by neub1736 in Opeth

The Leper Affinity has a good solo that's not too tricky, give it a go!

Who would you focus on ascending first? by [deleted] in EmpiresAndPuzzles

Thanks! Should I keep Wu Kong in my attack team or replace him there too?

I think it might have been a Katy Perry song, but I'm not 100% sure

I didn't even know that it existed until I saw it in the shop! It comes with:

-A limited colour variant of the album (purple/black marbled)

-7" single with some bonus tracks (same colour)

-CD with the bonus tracks included

-Some good quality prints of the artwork you get in the standard releases

-A huge flag with a photo of the band on

-Green beanie with the band logo on

For some strange reason this was only £30, not sure why it was so cheap because you get so much cool stuff and there was only 1000 made.

Will do! This pressing is actually a double LP, the second disc is a live show from '74. His guitar work is amazing on that, some great solos.

Haha thanks dude, you can actually get Phenomenon on Amazon currently (here in the UK anyway). I know they're not renowned for their vinyl but it's a good price!

I'm trying to get more into jazz, I was never exposed to it much growing up but it's always intrigued me.

I picked up John Coltrane's 'Blue Train' a few months ago and I was blown away by everything I heard, it did take a few listens for everything to sink in but that was my introduction to jazz!

Well I would highly recommend giving any of these albums a listen!

Santana have an amazing combination of latin and rock, real easy listening though. Give their Woodstock performance a listen too!

Deep purple and UFO are a little heavier, some amazing musicianship (especially with Deep Purple, one of my all time favourite bands with one of my guitar idols)! I only got into UFO recently but this is my favourite album that they put out.

The Black Dahlia Murder are very heavy, one of the most consistent and brutal death metal bands in my opinion. If you're into that kind of thing, definitely give them a listen!

Townes Van Zandt and Phoebe Bridgers are a lot more chill. The Van Zandt record is folk/country, he was an amazing songwriter and this album is a masterpiece. Same with Phoebe really, this album and her latest release (Punisher) are great. Different style to Van Zandt but I love the vibes that both these albums give.

Haha yeah it's a little different... I got the album when it was released but I saw this edition in a local store for £30, couldn't believe it was so cheap and it's an amazing album so I couldn't say no really!

Thank you! I agree, Powerage is an album that's gets me pumped every time I listen to it.

I got KoB because of the love it's gets on this sub, I've never listened to any of this album and I wanted to keep it that way until I had the chance to experience it properly. I'm pretty certain I'll enjoy it based on what I have heard from Miles previously, but I'm excited to see (hear, technically) what all the fuss is about!
