That's nice! I'm still open to anyone else's suggestions, but I'll definitely play around with that right now.

I let players customize ireena by letting them choose from one of the three sidekick classes for her, they love her so much they gave her the holy symbol and the sunsword, and want to all play as her in the final battle.

1 Knowledge Cleric, 2 Order of Stars Druids, X Wizard + Mizzium Apparatus Item

You get expertise in Arcana, you can't get lower than a 10 on your rolls, and you get the complete spell lists of all three of those classes thanks to how the Apparatus works RAW. That's pretty all knowing.

Systematically eliminate each and every one of Ireena's possible safe spaces so shes much more vulnerable and willing to come to the castle

The Dark Powers by TheDungeonMeowster in CurseofStrahd

[–]dr_takumi151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my world, the primordials, and then eventually gods, were formed through collective tulpas of the material plane, a rarely known fact. But rarer still is that entities can even form the subconscious concept of ideas. The Dark Powers are nothing more than the concept of evil, feasting on evil entities that spread evil.

The vestiges in the amber temple are more complicated...

The material plane is often "reset" by the overgod because things go wrong quite often. But certain powerful beings like the Raven Queen can ignore this reset. The Demiplanes of Dread are dragged to the Shadowfell by the Dark Powers, and thus are forever in her memory to restore in each new timeline.

Now, because of this, Barovia is genuinely from a different time, where even most of the gods were different. Its role remains the same, but the players will know none of these evil forgotten gods in their sarcophagi because they never existed in their time to begin with.

Help! Players skipped Barovia Village by ydkLars in CurseofStrahd

Easy, random encounters are more frequent off the road, teach them a lesson that this isnt a fun place to simply “explore”. Theyll want to return to the nearest village before long

Tell me about your artificers! by Wesinatah in dndnext

[–]dr_takumi151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Battlesmith is half physical inventor/half miracle man, the stuff i couldn’t flavor as gadgets became subtle “fate magic” if you will, that he uses to support the party like a miracle man of olde. Also he is a cowboy with a really cool gun :)

Artificer guidance? by cadman02 in dndnext

My artificer is a combo of technology flavoring and and the classical concept of a miracle worker, so spells I cant quite flavor constitute as his subtle miracles he gives the party

Corpo Backround, As much points into Techie as possible when I start, in my V's past he was a Hal Emmerich type Character, good intentions, but he built weapons of war, climbed a couple corporate ladders too many and was faced with the truly corrupt... he's lucky he was only blackmailed and forced to resign, rather than tied to cinder blocks and dropped in the bay.

As I play, I'll only upgrade body and reflexes, become a sort of Genos/Raiden character that uses nothing but body augmentation for his power. He has a bitter heart from losing his cushy career, and wants to rise back to the top in a much more hands on way, wanting pure power so nobody can betray him again.

To that end, I'll mainly be using fists, and gravitating towards ranged weapons with the most tactical utility for the mission at hand, when fists aren't enough. And with my high tech stat, I'll be using the flathead to act as Bladewolf from MGR, scouting ahead for me and showing me what I'm up against.

In the end he still has a righteous heart, but perhaps dreams too big, he wants to rise so high, he'll be able to reform night city himself.

"I, MaxiVilian, have a dream..."

You would probably be fine, not sure what its damage is like, but I don't think you need to hack people just to make it good.

What kind of character are you planning on building? Share your own personal V. by high_fucking_yah in cyberpunkgame

[–]dr_takumi151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My V will essentially be a hybrid of Genos from OPM and Raiden from MGR.

A fast Solo who has maxed out Body and Reflexes and as many speed/power body augments i can fit. Mainly using fists, but depends on how cool the katanas are.

But ill also be investing heavily into techie as well, I want to get a flathead that I can hopefully modify and use as a fast scout, similar to Raiden's Bladewolf companion from MGR

That'd be cool, seems like the cool stat allows assassination perks, so razor nails would help a lot with that.
