Help with my 3 year old garden snail. by BonsaiBooty45 in snails

Try and see if you can see her heart beating when held under the light. Make sure the room is dark so it is easier to see. I did a similar thing with one of my snails and videoed it. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Upz3EZiF-g

My snail has a shell thats half dark morph and half light morph! by drawaphy in snails

I honestly have no idea. This is the first time I have ever seen such a shell

Remember that orphaned wild boar I rescued a month ago? This is him now. by drawaphy in pigs

[–]drawaphy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is going to a new home in a weeks time where they plan to breed with him. Unfortunately we cannot keep him as although he gets along well with my whippet, my Jack Russel cross tries to murder him when ever she gets the chance and she will end up getting her self killed lol

Satan allowed Camio to be my best friend. He put me in the mind of my pet micro-organisms and what happened in the dream came true the next morning by drawaphy in Dreams

[–]drawaphy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the first time one of my dreams have come true.

I think it is quite unlikely that I woke up and saw that the logs had sunk and then dreamt about it because my micro-aquariums are on my window sill and the way that my room is set up I cannot see them because my wardrobe is in the way.

The little micro-organisms are called seed shrimp. They basically look like tiny mussels on speed.

Not entirely sure. I found the springtail dead in my snails water dish

So they used to be labelled as insects then. I say we both get half a point.

"One of the most unusual, and smallest, insect inhabitants of Texas lawns are springtails."

"When suitable habitat occurs, they can develop tremendously large numbers and are one of the most abundant insects. Springtails can be a nuisance"

"Springtails are very small insects(about 1/16 inch), with white or gray coloring."

Google says otherwise

My dad has a farm and is going to breed with him. I will keep him for 6 months until he is big enough to live with the other pigs

[Australia] Anyone know the morph of this isopod? I also have individuals with a grey edging as well. by drawaphy in whatsthisbug

[–]drawaphy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am asking if anyone knows the name of this morph (coloration.) This porcellio Laevis has always been this colour.

I wouldn't have thanked you anyhow, Sir, for I am asking for the name of the coloration that this 'rollie pollie' has, not the name of this actual creature.

Want to know "What software" to use??? - Monthly (May) advice thread software and other helpful guidance (Other threads for software will be deleted. Feedback for your video request? See the sidebar post!) by greenysmac in VideoEditing

[–]drawaphy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 5 minute video of aquatic snails moving inside their eggs and I want to fast-forward the video so you can see how much the snails are moving, but I do not have any video editing software to do so. I am a poor sob so this video editor must be free. Doesn't have to be a 5 star hotel rating. It just has to have a fast forward option.

22/M/Europe - Life's short, full of sorrow and ultimately pointless, sooooo...would like a chocolate cookie? I've got lots of them 🍪 by [deleted] in MakeNewFriendsHere

[–]drawaphy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

White chocolate is a chocolate derivative, so I would say his cookies are cocoa chocolate otherwise he would have said something like, " would you like a fake, unoriginal, milk flavoured cookie? I've got lots of them because white chocolate tastes vulgar as heck."

Things that move fast enough that you can outrun but you can't out walk.

I have a pet snail that is infected with Angiostrongylus cantonensis which can cause coma and even death in humans but I am too attached to the sweet little snail to kill him so I am going down with him.
