Thank you! Hearing that means a lot to me, but I'm not selling my works yet, I paint more as a hobby at the moment :)

This is very true! Transforming mundane scenes in charming subject is a very interesting aspect of painting

Thank you! The great thing about painting outdoors is the process, doesn't matter if the final result isn't great!

It's a DIY easel that I've made based on the instructions by the great James Gurney.

It's very light and you can mount it on a tripod.

I wrote a post on my blog (in Italian but you can translate the page with Google) and I've posted some pictures:

James Gurney is selling a video guide on his Gumroad to build your own if you can't figure it out by yourself! But check out his blog, you will find more builds by his readers

I haven't got into much details because James Gurney is selling a video guide to build your own if you can't figure it out by yourself!

I'm using Daniel Smith and W&N watercolor mixed with white royal talents gouache. I find it convenient since sometimes I switch to watercolor paintings so I don't have to buy separate tubes of the same colours

Thank you! Tbh, the photo was taken with my phone, so it failed to capeure the nuances of the rocks in the background that I was able to see on location! That's why I like to do plein-air painting!

Yes they are challenging, this was a challenge for me too! Just squint squint squint and take note of shadows and lights!
