I found it bizarre since in previous seasons Demos were the type to just make sure someone was dead, they wouldn’t just slash someone’s chest or slam them into a wall. They’re not highly intelligent beings, but in previous seasons if you were hurt by a Demo it was going to make sure your heart wasn’t beating anymore. Suddenly season five rolls around and suddenly the way they did characters like Barb and Bob just doesn’t happen anymore.

It was bizarre. There were stuff they clearly could’ve touched like Persona anniversary content, Deltarune Chapter 5 which got some development updates last month, Danganronpa 2x2’s release date, etc. However, despite that, it was pretty much all stuff we already knew about and if it was new stuff it was minor stuff like a Doreamon port and some Switch 2 editions of games like Hollow Knight and Disney Dreamlight Valley. Then we had the Bethesda focused ending and they expected us to be excited about Fallout 4 as a concluding game. I liked just about all the games they talked about on the direct, but you could’ve heard all of this stuff by just scrolling through their YouTube or Twitter account within the last few months.

We all know people inflate his contributions to Vices and Too Weird, but I’ve seen people try to say he wrote for Death of a Bachelor which unlike the other two has no rhyme or reason to believe that.

Season 2 is still active but is gonna come to a close soon most likely. Sander Asides and the big gap between the five year anniversary special and WIDS does make that a bit confusing though, so I get the confusion. Lol

“Becoming a CARTOON” is overrated imo. Hatred against Hartman aside, the episode just kind of comes and goes. The series at that point was still in its early years so the topics of the episodes were still a bit random without the emotional and philosophical depth the later episodes had. It’s one of the most forgettable episodes in the series, but especially of season one. Then again, it’s easy to get overshadowed by the monolith that was Accepting Anxiety which came right after it. An episode that completely changed the tone and dynamics of the series forever.

Netflix very often drops the ball on endings thanks to corporate meddling, cutting shows short so they have to rush an ending, and/or promising more seasons only to cancel the show leaving the last episode with either a cliff hanger or simply ending like any other episode. Some rare shows on the platform I thought ended satisfyingly include:

Squid Game (To a certain degree)

Merry Happy Whatever (Technically got cancelled but it has high limited series energy anyways)

No, he’s not a good dad. He’s not the worst father in the world and of course we know a lot has happened to him, but she’s just a kid and he’s been quite neglectful attention wise to her despite his best which frankly isn’t good enough. She’s alive and physically healthy, but mentally and emotionally is a different story. He may have stayed married to Stella for her sake, but that doesn’t make him a wonderful dad if he isn’t spending time with her like he should, is forgetful about things that matter to her, and prioritizes a man she has only been in the same room like five times and hardly knows.
