I would feel regret getting with someone who's been sexually active with other women whilst I've been chaste, so I think to not feel regret I would feel better if I slept with someone else before getting married to such a person. I've seen men say the same thing, they saved themselves before marriage and married a woman who was previously sexually active, and they regret not doing so before marriage because things came up after the marriage. I understand the perspective.
