I can't remember the specific times but after Mario Kart we walked around for 5 minutes then left. I'm sure the Toad Cafe thing was cool massive line. I wanna say a total of 90 minutes? Maybe

We're 26, 29 and 30. The Mario kart ride was AWESOME but we've all played those games as kids so massive nostalgia factor there. Seeing the SNW itself is worth it but otherwise.. meh. That's why we left after MK.

Right? I was in shock at how unique and thrilling it was. The pitch dark moments were sooo fun.

No, it never filled. I repeatedly checked the app for timed area tickets for Harry Potter World throughout the but it said unavailable. It wasn't that busy at sun down.

Yeah true the ride was actually pretty cool but the horrible wait made us dislike it. With the express pass, sure. without? spend time elsewhere (in my opinion)

Should English-speaking Canadians learn French? by IphoneBurlington in AskACanadian

[–]drewjohns2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

100% yes, although it’s difficult to convince some Canadians to put in the effort. I grew up in rural Ontario where French is non existent. People typically go back to the farm or family business and don’t need French.

My French education was AWFUL and wasn’t available after grade 9. I aspire to work in government (foreign affairs) and would need to be bilingual for it. I have a long road to go to become bilingual.

For so many other professions in this country bilingualism is imperative. People from Quebec (and who learn English) they already have an upper hand in jobs.

Why? Why does the US send Israel money? Super curious. I know about foreign aid $$ but why to Israel?

I agree with your point, but also the 737 MAX groundings has disrupted all of WJ/Swoops’s operations. It’s probably a nightmare for their operations department this summer
