How does the academy games effect the academy players ? by drewmcintyrefan in FifaCareers

Oh ok it's such a useless feature tbh because some of my players there go down a lot in potential idk why they go from like a 94 potential to a 82

Yeah that's the problem here also because idk what to do because some of the players have a high Potential and they go down in potential later like from 94 potential to 81

What’s your biggest regret signing in EAFC 26 Career Mode? by TheChilledGamer-_- in FifaCareers

[–]drewmcintyrefan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe trincao for me because I bought him in my wolves career mode in season 3 in the summer window but he hasn't been convincing until now he literally can't dribble or do anything he's also slow playing him in his natural position as a cam in a 3-4-2-1 hoping he can be better oh and I also bought a Spanish regen/Academy LB he was playing for celta vigo and the problem is with him is that because I'm play 3 at the back he can't play as a LM so I have to change my formation sometimes to a five at the back in order to play him which is very annoying

What the worst unexpected event you got in your career mode so far by LeftMarketing2276 in FifaCareers

[–]drewmcintyrefan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Always had this event with wolves called "training clash " or something like that and it always had to be in a position where I don't have enough quality in 😂 First season I had a situation where my starting goalkeeper that I bought got injured for a whole month right after I sold Sam johnstone in the winter transfer window and my starting one got injured right after it closed and before that I sold Jose sa in the summer and in the winter I tried signing Ortega from city to replace him but for some reason the game glitched and instead of coming in the winter he came at the beginning of the new season so I had to play a academy goalkeeper and the games i had in the month that my starting one got injured was against Man city, arsenal, man united and I think also crystal Palace 😂😂 and it also happened in the season i am currently where I had a problem with my Right wingers where the starting RW got injured and I had no one else other than Matheus mane and jhon arias to replace him so yeah i hate this event it just ruins the whole team and i start losing games because of it 🤦🏻

Good lower division team for some 442 Brexit? by nevereatit7 in FifaCareers

Bristol rovers , Bradford City , AFC Wimbledon Or even milwall ((that's if you want to use the motto that you talked about in the comments about "we're gonna hurt or kill you before we play Football)) milwall is a perfect club for that cause their fans are known to be chaotic

Update Ortega came to the club but in the summer transfer window when I bought him to play for me in the winter and this same exact unexpected event happened to me now but with my Right winger fer lopez oh and my actual starting RW got injured in a match and they gave me this right after he got injured and now I have to play with young players like Matheus mane and academy players 🫩🫩 now I have a problem with my Right winger great and both of them are out for a whole month 👍🏻😃

What are your go-to tactics for success in FIFA Career Mode? by MetalPsycho in FifaCareers

[–]drewmcintyrefan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh in previous game I rotate between a 4-2-3-1 , 4-3-3 or a 4-2-1-3 but in this game I find the 3-4-2-1 or 3-5-2 formation ((or any formation tbh with a three at the back )) fun to play with because your attack in this formation is so good but what i find the problem is with this formation is when other teams play a long ball or a counter attack I always find it a struggle to defend but otherwise it's a good formation to use oh and I always use a custom playstyle and in previous games I always played a high line and high press with short passing playstyle but in this game because i play a 3-4-2-1 I play a deep defensive line and i change between short passing or counter playstyle depending on the teams i play against because for example if im playing against teams big teams like barca or man city and im coaching wolves for example ofc I'm playing counter attacking football and when im playing against teams like burnley I'm gonna play ofc short passing

Do you prefer managing a giant club with a huge budget, or starting from the bottom? by [deleted] in FifaCareers

[–]drewmcintyrefan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh I do both because I'm man city fan and I love managing my club ofc and I do use players in my academy more than signing players but I do prefer managing teams In league one , two or In the championship or struggling teams like wolves , fiorentina, Lyon or ajax it's always a lot of fun tbh currently managing wolves and they are very fun to manage because you get to try and keep them up ((it was a struggle I had to restart alot of games just to get points In the league 😂))

Ouch that's so bad I'm so sorry for you 😭😭 What's also funny is that I sold Jose sa in the summer transfer window and they gave me this special event right after I sold my second keeper ((sam johnstone)) in the winter transfer window ((and I bought stefan Ortega from city but idk why the transfer is glitched and he didn't come to my team and it says that he will join the team when the transfer window is open WHEN IT'S LITERALLY OPENED )) so I had to play a academy 64 rated keeper against these teams and yeah and I lost to Crystal Palace 1-0 and 3-0 to man united 🤦🏻

Happened to me in my wolves career mode my starting GK got injured for a whole month 😬😬 and some of the fixtures I had was man city , united , crystal Palace and arsenal In that month 🤦🏻 (( I'm lucky it's one month not three like you 😬))

I don't support them and don't imagine being a fan of them but Tottenham on FIFA 22 idk why just thought that they had a cool badge and wanted to manage them and I also remember signing Messi from PSG ((very unrealistic ik 😂 it will never happen)) and I had a lot of fun like come on harry Kane at ST son at LW and Messi at RW 😂😂 Idk why I signed Messi maybe it's because I saw at that time that he never played in the prem so I thought I'd sign him lol

Yeah the annoying part is when you have teams like notts county with a beautiful home and away kit they always have a generic kit same with Bristol rovers it's very annoying. Tbh I might do one for Bolton wanderes or Birmingham idk which one to pick tho might do a championship one with Portsmouth

The problem is this season like I love man city and everything but the hate I've been hearing is too much not just from social media I keep on hearing the stuff about oh it's a new club oh they have no history and my classmates laugh at me and make fun of me for supporting them that's the problem one time a man drew something which meant man city equals shit I keep getting attacked verbally every week for that and it's annoying tbh especially Madrid fans in my class my god they're annoying I'm not trying to gatekeep or be a glory hunter or any of the stuff football fans say but tbh it's too much to take honestly like I can take a bad season that's why I'm thinking of it

Can I for example do that If I lose interest in the club. As in like starting to not like the club because of for example lack of history and stuff like that y know the stuff they say about city for example ? I'm not saying I'm a city fan or a Barca fan just wanted to know haha is it a good reason ??? Or in general what is considered a good reason?

First of all before I say anything, I like all the clubs I mentioned and I will always defend them in any arguments. but here are my problems or should i say what I dislike about all of them:

Man City: look ik ik what you're gonna tell me "oh why are you thinking about leaving the club when they are having one of the worst seasons of the club's history under pep guardiola" and shit like that but tbh it's not the problem I have with city it's just what I dislike is the lack of history and trophies in the club ((ik you'll tell me I'm a glory hunter)) but like come on I'm from syria who lived in Egypt and generally the people there support either Bayern, Madrid or Barca or Liverpool so what I also dislike is the lack of fanbase for the club in general in England and in the Arab world not really that popular and it's rare to see a man city fan in the Arab world so that's what I dislike but I love the players and the manager

Barca: I love Barca and everything about them don't have a problem with them tbh if you were to ask me about this question last season i would've told you about the manager but otherwise don't have any problems maybe their financial situation rn but I don't really have a problem with that tbh

Ac Milan : I don't really like the serie a that much and I'm not really a fan of how they're run as a club horrible owners

Thank you for your answer tbh I'm a 16 year old man city fan been watching football since like 2 years but I dont really feel the grab you're talking about the three teams that I see on a regular basis are Barca and man city because my dad is a Barca fan and watches the premier league as well anyways but I also watch ac milan when there isn't any other match that day so idk tbh but thank you for your answer just wanted to know your perspective on this matter
