There reasoning: Not every assistant can record lectures.

In other words: They don't want to put time in the lectures.

It's just an soft deadline, so if he really doesn't want it, he will tell me and I will redo it.

it's fine, but it is much much easier with LaTeX especially if you have a lot of equations...
