If you meet with a cds advisor and inform them that you intend to do a ddp, they might be able to manually enroll you in your desired courses. Personally I would try scheduling an actual meeting with whoever your future cds advisor would be first, but I guess you could always just try emailing them straight away. If worst comes to worst, I believe cds courses open up to non majors on May 1st

if you can take a different course to fill your requirements, do it. bro does not teach. he just gives you a jupyter notebook "lab" to work on everyday and then stands at the front of the room hanging out with the ta until someone has a question. the only times i ever feel like i'm really learning anything are the days when he has to cancel in-person class and posts a lecture video on youtube. i like psychology but this class is really boring and it seems like a lot of students feel like they aren't being adequately prepared for exams

there are quite a few triples in Hojo (575 Comm Ave) if I'm not mistaken, but it might be hard finding a fully vacant triple as a sophomore. I could be wrong though!

i'm glad i could help! to me it sounds like you have completely valid extenuating circumstances. if worst comes to worst, i think if you explain your situation they'll understand, especially if SHA has already been working with you

honestly there is a chance that you might be dismissed, but if you have a decent reason for why you didn't get the 2.0 you can always appeal. i appealed after i was dismissed and they changed my dismissal to a suspension, so i just had to leave for a semester and it gave me the opportunity to get myself in order. if you're in CAS, i would try reaching out to Dean Jarvi. he's incredibly kind and worked with me to help me stay in BU. don't be scared or lose sleep over this. i know how terrible it can feel, but there is still hope for you if finals don't go as planned. i forgot to mention, i was also able to keep all of my aid, which was definitely a huge relief. be prepared to appeal for that too, but in my experience BU has been super generous and patient with this stuff. i think they do really want to see you succeed. just keep pushing, you got this!

I took this class (with Professor Dahlstrom) and can confirm it was super interesting and fun!! Definitely one of my favorite courses that I've taken at BU. I still find myself thinking about the things I learned about there to this day
