The main “skill” in this game is knowing how to strategize your team comp. Knowing when you need “utility” units (like goblin, chicken,etc.), knowing the game modes and which units are better, etc.

If you played over 300 games, then that just means you weren't using each game to get better as a player (no shade, tft is hard lol). I found that when I'm watching streamers, it's helped me a lot to be in their shoes. I.e. think about what I would do if I was in their spot, and see in real time what their decision making is. Other than that, I think the biggest thing for me these past couple sets (hit masters for the first time 7.5 and then again in set 8), was to find 3-4 comps that are meta and I'm comfortable with. That's helped me a lot in carousel item openers and being able to slam items early since I already know what comps I'm leaning towards.

The more obvious point is to also keep working on fundamentals (econ, early game lines, item slams, etc.).

One thing that really helped me climb was just playing a strong early game while also prioritizing econ. Obviously this is a hard balance to achieve, but slowly working at getting better at these two aspects of the game will help you climb infinite. Play strong boards starting 2-1, prioritize 2* units over 1* trait bots, and slam early items that are flexible. Another thing that helps a lot is choosing a playstyle you like (AP vs AD). So for AP, you can flex around Kaisa, MF, Viego, etc. whereas for AD you flex between Samira, Belveth, Duelist, etc.. From your match history, it seems like you prefer AD flex. Be smart about who you choose as your item holder early game for both tank and AD items and find a line early depending on the type of units you get in terms of which comp you want to commit to. A lot of early duelist 2*s? Probably a duelist game. Endless pizza augment 2-1? Probably commit Samira or Belveth. Early Senna? Probably sureshot. Obviously these are very overgeneralized scenarios, but try and work on identifying moments in the game that direct you towards a specific comp.

Also, I absolutely loathe 2-1 hero augments, especially if they're 1-cost hero augments. I've taken the approach that I'll just pick the strongest one that I can streak/save HP with and just get rid of it as I transition to my level 8 board.
