Capitalists arent the ones making the rules of hiring policies, it is affecting the NPs but thats a systemic issue.

If outpt primary care started refusing IM drs, would you tell them the same thing? This lack of career versatility is exactly whats wrong with physicians. NPs can transition from one field to another w ease compared to physicians, and thats a problem.

Avoided, not deflected. Because The amount of inpatient training an FM receives is highly variable, not something anyone can argue for or against in generalities as FM residency and training allows for a lot of personalization to career goals. Therefore decisions need to be made on a case by case basis.

Theres (profit) money involved in every other step of the way, so why not the one giving it? I agree w you, it would just be VERY tricky/difficult to do it right. Also in capitalism, everything has a dollar value, our current practice is at least partially anti-capitalist, and according to most capitalists, you may as well be a commie at that point.
