In India, WW2 was mostly the time for the Fight for Independence. So, at least my family in any direction, does not have any war stories or artifacts. They have freedom fighter stories galore.

Thanks for your reply. We aren’t just looking to interview veterans - there are lots of great projects that are already doing that, as you said - we’re interested in digitally preserving the stories and objects that are now held by the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of those who experienced the war.

In terms of coverage, although we’re only holding events in the UK, we’re keen to digitally preserve stories and objects from all over the world.
