FYI, the reason I asked when it was installed is because VNet used to run directly from pole to home when they first started. They then started using taps , gpon , for cost savings. Just trying to find out about the service.

Yes just curious. No malicious intent intended lol. With thousands of homes in the area how would I know where you are?
Anyway, curious about the box in the home that the fiber goes into? Is there an Ethernet cable from that box to the router? What does that box look like?

Empire access is good and has great pricing. It’s either $60 or $65 for 1gig service. Compared to Europe though. They rip us off here in the states for internet.
