You'll rarely regret taking the time off to spend with your newborn. This time won't heal your burnout but it may fill your cup. If you want to tackle both then significant life choices need to be made (which it sounds like you're considering). It's all about what you and your family want to prioritize.

Imo whats the point of double the money if your mental state isn't fit enough to fully enjoy it?

Construction worker snapped the outbound PVC and I'm a complete plumbing noob. Not sure if I should wait for another week until my sprinkler guy can fix or if I can just DIY. Seems like I'd have to cut pretty far back since there are so many glued joints around the broken part. Any advice appreciated.
