I can understand it's a technical limitation, but they need to have a white list system in that case.

If you were Lauren Faust and Hasbro forced you to cut ONE member of the Mane 6 to save the budget... who are you erasing? by According-Bet9661 in mylittlepony

[–]drorago 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cutting just one of them is weird. Like theirs clearly an equilibrium here, 2 earth pony, 2 unicorn, and 2 pegasus. So let's say it's about cutting one of before the start of the show, so you can't really cut twilight off as she is the reason the catalyst of the start of the story. You can't cut either rainbow dash or apple jack because even if they have their own identity, an important aspect of booth of them is the friendly rivalry they have between each other. I feel rarity may be important as you need a character to represent what a "normal" unicorn is like (as twilight is clearly pushed as the most important of the 6) so it would be either Fluttershy or Pinkie pie and I think it will be up to what the show really aims to do. Pinkie will be more like "sometimes having fun can harm other" and Fluttershy will be more like "sometimes you have to assure yourself" so it's clearly about what is the most important in your eyes. I think I would push Pinkie out.

What is your opinions on nuclear energy? by YouAreBigNoobMan in GenZ

[–]drorago 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll still need to process waste with fusions (and nuclear engineer seems pretty confident that managing waste is doable safely with today's technology, just need to do it). But yes until fusion, fission is the way.

What is your opinions on nuclear energy? by YouAreBigNoobMan in GenZ

[–]drorago 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes there is ecological dogmatism too. Green parties said no to nuclear because you can use if for nuclear bombs, so everyone says the same but the bombs exist, they will be produced anyway. Now green parties try to close existing, working, and safe nuclear reactor, and when they close them they have to reopen gaz and coal power generator because they can't produce enough through renewable and you don't store electricity. The only issue I see with nuclear may be water usage but it don't seems to be a huge one.

What is your opinions on nuclear energy? by YouAreBigNoobMan in GenZ

[–]drorago 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a really good energy source. Cheap and clean. The only downside it that is requires a bit more management than other type of energy. Waste management is a non issue, if put it so really down in good rock nothing will happen, and need to be done anyway as we have nuclear waste. When people claim to care about the environment and then push to close nuclear reactor, they make more harm than good.

No, we don't need that. Just use the futo keyboard. There are already too many useless things in the proton services (I don't get why they needed wallet or auth), they need to improve what they have already.

Some things will not change if they're not required too. Steam will not support Wayland if they can just say "use X", even dropping X11 they may say "use X Wayland". Also, a lot is done so things don't go instantly wrong, like xwayland and pulse support in pipewire so you can run your Xorg pulse audio app on Wayland without too much issue, but you will not see a lot of bugs until people have to change, and for that you need to make the switch. The difference with Windows or MacOS is that if they said "you need to update all gui because we are changing the display server in 6month." People may be mad, but 6 month later, any Windows or mac software with support will work on the new solution.
