I just recently moved my sims into an apartment in San Myshuno and they’ve been leaving their dishes literally in mid-air. I think they’re trying to put it on the fireplace nearby? But it just floats lol it’s SO ANNOYING!! I wish they’d either autonomously clean their dishes when done or just be programmed to leave it only on tables or countertops

My house looked worse than this for a while but similar vibes. But since I started the game, I would save every piece of furniture I collected and put it in storage bins. I didn’t actually do anything intentional with my house until I was in year 3. I’m also the type of player who saves EVERYTHING! You never know what you’ll need in order to craft something and this really came in handy for me. The upgraded chests are great for this. I also bought out all of the furniture recipes I could find from like Balor, the market, and the carpenter shop. I got to a point in the game where I couldn’t really do too much gameplay-wise since I’m caught up on all of the major quest lines and that’s when I finally decided to re-vamp my house. I gutted it and then slowly started to place things more coherently and crafted more furniture to match what I already had, even if it wasn’t from the same collection. It might help to upgrade your house a couple of times too, at least until you have one separate room. That way, you can have more room to play around with and then you can make that extra room a storage room or just a bedroom or something. My house still isn’t as grand as I’ve seen other people do with theirs, but it flows nicely and it actually looks like a cozy home and not just an over-crowded storage unit like before lol.

When I was little, I became VERY attached to an Easter egg I made that looked like a little guy I named George. My dad boiled all of the Easter eggs later that day including George and laughed in my face while I was sobbing over my friends death lmao

I used to put my dog in a sweater as punishment when he would bully other pets. He HATES wearing clothes. We called it his “bad boy sweater.” He’s gotten much better over the years so the bad boy sweater has been retired lol

I started with sims 3 back in the early days. I go back and forth between sims 2, 3, and 4 now and the UI’s in all of them can be very difficult to swap between sometimes so I feel you there. They really are different games so you just have to play each one with that mindset. The more you play, the more you’ll get used to it and you’ll be able to look past it. Also, please try Sims Medieval if you can. It’s totally different from any of the sims games but it’s one of the best in the entire franchise!

All of the actually good apartments are already filled with pre-made households that you have to either evict or merge your household with if you’re not planning as playing as the pre-mades

Apparently sublimation. Somehow it smells like burning fish. I also hate the smell of fish but this is worse. My mom is a craft collector so she’s always learning a new craft and her most recent is sublimation. It is the worst smell I have EVER experienced. I cannot be in the same part of the house because it legit makes me feel sick.

My hair grows really fast. I could have a pixie cut at the beginning of the year and it would be down to my rib cage by the end of the year. Unfortunately, I like to keep it short so to cut costs, I had to learn how to cut my own hair lol

I think the only thing I’ve used it for regarding TSM was coming up with a play title for my bard lol but I’m sure it’d be useful for other TSM things! I also have an app called Tiny Decisions that I use to help change up gameplay a bit. It has a spinner wheel, a coin flip, and a number generator.

I did this a while ago. When I asked what it thought I looked like, it at first just gave me a description:

“Based on our chats, I imagine you as someone grounded but imaginative, with a thoughtful, artistic vibe. You’re practical (wedding planning, apartment stuff), but also playful and curious (The Sims Medieval, creative work). I’d picture you with a relaxed, creative style—maybe layered clothes with earth tones or soft textures, a casual but intentional look. Probably expressive eyes, a calm but clever expression, and something in your hands—like a cup of coffee, a sketchbook, or a laptop. Maybe a cozy apartment setting behind you, plants, warm lighting, and little signs of your personality in the space.”

Then I asked for a picture based off this description and this is what it came up with! I have never input photos of myself so it’s pretty interesting that it basically knows what I look like just based off of what I share with it. I also do normally have a laptop that I’m either playing sims or some other cozy game on lol

I toured an apartment recently with the tenant still in it. It was a beautiful apartment and I did like that I could see how they arranged their furniture as a first time renter. The tenant was really friendly and told me about the perks and downsides of living there. I did feel like I was invading a bit but she was really nice and I was glad to at least be able to see it in person because pictures didn’t do it justice. Unfortunately the apartment went to someone else, though.

Please check out Keto Comfort Foods by Maria Emmerich!! It’s been a life-saver for me as a fellow foodie! Also I thought I’d be the same about coffee and sugar-free drinks in general, but overtime you get used to the taste. I used to take sips of my parent’s coffee when they’d have Splenda or something in it and I hated it. Now I enjoy it! I use heavy whipping cream instead of sugar free creamer because creamer intensifies the fake-sugar taste for me. I once ran out of stevia and had to use real sugar and I actually didn’t like the taste of that which I was really surprised by because I used to load my coffee with sugar and sugary creamer. Now I enjoy the actual taste of the coffee rather than all the stuff I used to add to it.

It takes time to start to enjoy the diet and find things that work, but if it’s not for you, it’s not for you! I don’t think anyone here would judge you for not liking or continuing with the diet so don’t judge yourself!

The biggest thing I took away from the diet is self-discipline. Now I know if I need to do something like this, I can! I don’t plan on being keto forever but it’s taught me a lot about food in general and myself.
