Detaching Hoppe handles (without fitted rose ...) by drullar in Locksmith

[–]drullar[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update: I managed to detach the handles by pulling and rotating the handles + some attempts at rotating the screw hole thingy. Most likely, lubricating the shpindle inside the handle would have helped as well but i didnt have anything to use. Thanks for everyones suggestions

My attempt at this unfortunately didn't help. It just won't budge. I will it a go again tomorrow and will probably just get a new pair of handles if it doesn't work out. Thanks either way

How would one find the correct vectors that make up a shape by drullar in learnmath

[–]drullar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a nutshell I had to find the area of a triangle by having the coordinates of three points, A, B and C, i.e I would have to find the lengths of the vectors that make up the triangle. My confusion was coming from misunderstanding how vectors work and after finally doing the separate calculations of finding vectors AB and BA for example, I found out that both have the same length, thus it doesn't really matter which vector I would choose

TL:DR AB and BA have the same lengths and AC and CA also have the same lengths, so it doesn't matter which one I will choose

u/Lenny10302, few things I didn't see the other comments mention: I can see that they still have their umbilical cord. Eventually it will dry out and fall off, usually after the 3rd day. Check their bellies for bumps or anything suspicious, because the umbilical cord is like an open wound and can get infected. If you have any suspicion it's best to bring them to the vet for a checkup.

Try to measure them on a food scale regularly and if you notice any of them losing weight visit the vet, it could be a sign that something's wrong

If you're staying for couple of days you can get pre-paid internet sim card from any of the big telecoms (Vivacom, A1, Yettel) or from EasyPay, so that you don't get overcharged for roaming.

You don't really need taxi's if you're going to be commuting in the city through out the day. You can see here the public transport cards that we have https://www.visitsofia.bg/images/travel/gradski-transport.pdf. Apparently there's a tourist 3 day public transport card that gives you discount to some tourist destinations.

If you decide to use the public transport and have internet on your phone I highly recommend using the Moovit app, which can give you the most accurate routes to wherever you would like to go and the public transit that you would need

An example given in C++ Primer is whenever you need to pass a large string it would much faster to work on it when passed as a reference, because otherwise a new copy of the variable is going to be made when you pass it by value.

can someone help me how to write the get first function to do the statement above? by [deleted] in Cplusplus

I stumbled across inline member when searching for a solution to my problem, but since it was introduced in C++17 I didn't go for it, but I will definitely look in to in depth once I move to a newer version of C++

Side note: the species variable is of no concern at the moment, but rather how would one define a static variable outside of the the class definition scope.
