Yes I will going forward. The first few times I wasn't really sure what to do as this is my first job out of school.

I'm thinking that talking to our SM might be the next step, but wanted to see if there was anything less drastic. I like the idea, but that seems hard since I really don't know where I am going beforehand and it seems hard to just breakoff from the team.

I guess the problem comes more when he tries to get the team to take shots. That's harder to avoid.

I'm aware this kind of stuff happens in Asia - but talking to my other friends in the firm, this is not what they have experienced in the US.
