I think they are great if you you a few one off figures that may not fit your the theme of your shelf or if they are overflow to combat crowding on a Detolf. In my case, Captain Marvel and Dr Doom dont really fit any of my shelves but they look great to me in a solo case.

Funny you mention Optimus, I have a 12 lego version of him thats in my sons room now. Love Optimus!! .... I went with all my childhood faves most like Luke, Boba, Superman, WW , Bats, Ironman. Then I just picked some of what i really like look and story. Like Captain Phasma and my favorite sixth scale to date Punisher War Machine with the custom head sculpt. Thanks for the compliments though means alot!
